This morning in prayer I heard The Lord say the word “Alabaster Box.”

Jesus paid the price, and so must we in this hour! I hear God saying just as Jesus paid the price, so must “all of His prophets” and this is why the woman having an alabaster box of very precious ointment, came and poured it on his head (Jesus), as he sat at meet.

When we sit at meet with The Lord, it is a time of both dedication and concentration unto him! It is a time to commune both with others, and The Lord in this hour!

This is a ceremony that can not be taken lightly! Why? Because we are doing this unto one of God’s chosen servant,s in this hour! There is a great importance behind the offering up the alabaster box unto The Lord! This oil was very costly and of great importance: it signifies that nothing, and I mean nothing, is too good for those that have been called into ministry to serve others on Christ’s behalf!

This is why it was placed in this special box (priceless) resembling precious white marble in Israel! God demonstrated this by having the woman offer up this priceless ointment when it could have been sold to help the poor, but instead was used to anoint our precious savior!

These boxes were often sealed or made fast with wax, to prevent the perfume from escaping. When Mary broke open her alabaster box, “the house was filled with the fragrance of the perfume” (John 12:3). Alabaster was a strong enough substance to keep the oil or perfume completely contained, until the time of its use.

I smell a fresh aroma! A beautiful fragrance this morning! You see, God spoke to me this morning that just as this special, priceless oil was to be used at a special time in Jesus’ life, so must it be used in the ones whom he himself has chosen to fulfill their destinies; as well, in the Kingdom of God in this very hour, saith The Lord!

I heard God saying this morning that just as the disciples who saw it, and did not understand, so will some of you not understand either, and as a result, will say, “What a waste of oil and for what purpose was it poured upon the head of god’s chosen servant: could and should it not have been placed upon the head of someone more greater in this hour! But, God chooses the vessels that he sees fit for the oil to be poured (not man) just as it was for our savior!” (Matthew 26:8-9)

However, I heard God saying just as He did the disciples: why trouble ye the woman; for she hath wrought a good work upon me. For ye have the poor always with you; but me (the five-fold ministry) ye have not always. Why? Because just as John the Baptist was a voice crying in the wilderness saying make way for our Lord, so will the prophets in this season, but it will come a time that the Word of God will cease, and The Lord will make his return to judge the world (Revelations 1 7).

For in that she (the woman; the one god chooses to anoint the vessel) hath poured this ointment on my (the prophet) body, she did it for my burial, saith The Lord! Yes, I heard The Lord saying a second death must occur in His prophets (five-fold ministry) in this hour! The death to our vision, our wants, our dreams, and the cares of this world to be all that Christ has ordained you to be in this very hour! You see, it is no longer I or my old self has been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. So I live in this earthly body by trusting in the son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me (Galatians 2:20).

I heard God say that the burial is very important in order for this work to be done. You will have to be anointed with this special oil and ointment that God has prepared for you in this season! Just as He did our Lord and Savior!

The world may sit back and say, “What a waste and should not this oil have been prepared and given to the poor; instead of being poured upon this chosen vessel of God”, but God, He is the one who chooses His servants to be anointed with this precious oil in this season!

So, stand not back in indignation judging for whom this oil should have been prepared! Because God has made His choice and it is time for the oil to be poured out, in this season!

Let us kneel and pray that the oil will be used in this hour as the woman did when she anointed our savior, Christ the Lord, and not wasted.

For, verily I say unto you, wheresoever this gospel shall be preached in the whole world, there shall also this, that this woman (God’s vessel) hath done, be told for a memorial of her (Matthew 26:7-13).

Will you be a witness today, that God is pouring fresh oil upon the head of His anointed?
