For the past several days I have been sensing an intensive increase of the Holy Spirit’s presence. It seems as if a dam had broken and the floodgates of heaven have opened. Jesus has began to send His rain in abundance. The Lord showed me something so profound. Joel prophesies of the former and the latter rain in chapter two. The former rain came to pass at the day of Pentecost in the Upper room and the latter rain is what every Spirit filled believer has been eagerly waiting for. Throughout the bible the rain cycles of Israel are prophetic types of the outpouring of the Holy Spirit as well as the harvest of souls. The Hebrew word for the early rain is the word “pourer” “yoreh” which speaks of a soaking rain. The Hebrew word for the latter rain is the “harvest rain” “malqoesh.” This word speaks of a heavy, torrential violent rain. Prophetically speaking, the early rain was in reference to Pentecost and the latter rain is yet to come. Not only that, but the bible says that in the last days The Lord will send both the former rain and the latter rain. Get ready for a deluge of the latter rain to create great rivers as well as an unprecedented number of people coming into the end time harvest.

The Lord says, I will release My glory upon the earth once again. When you see the latter rain begin to fall, do not be afraid to step in. This is not a natural rain. This rain will come with power. This rain will come with strength. This rain will come with substance. This rain will come in abundance. This rain will come with tenacity. This rain is available to all who are thirsty . It is available to all who are ready to leave their natural ways of thinking behind and receive all that I have for you. It is available to those who will let go of their traditions and enter in to the newness of what I have for you. This rain will produce rivers, and these rivers will soon by arising. As you step into the river, everything that is not of Me will wash away. Everything that is dry and brittle will be restored. Everything that is sick will be restored. In this river you will receive revelation that will astound you. In this river you will find floods of peace. Allow Me to take you deeper into this river. I am looking for those who are not afraid to step out of their comfort zone. I am looking for those who are not afraid to launch out into the deep. I am looking for laborers for this great harvest which is about to begin.

Everywhere My river flows will bring life. The warfare that has raged against you will appear minuscule as you enter this river. You will no longer be intimidated by the powers of darkness that come against you. This river will shield you from every fiery dart that is aimed at you. Many will experience breakthroughs of significant proportions as they step into this river. There will be great miracles that will accompany this outpouring. What seemed impossible with man will become a natural occurrence. Do not become discouraged when you see the dark clouds. It is the dark clouds that are carrying the rain. They are bringing back the former rains and they are carrying in the latter rains. The rain will produce these rivers. As I said in My word, I will work a work in your days which you would not believe if it were told to you. Do not become discouraged when you see that the water is just ankle deep. This is just the beginning as this river will begin to rise in the days to come first ankle deep, knee deep, waist deep and then to overflowing to flood stage says the Lord.

Ezekiel 47:2-9
“He brought me out by way of the north gate, and led me around on the outside to the outer gateway that faces east; and there was water, running out on the right side. And when the man went out to the feast with the line in his hand, he measured one thousand cubits, and he brought me through the waters; the water came up to my ankles. Again he measured one thousand and brought me through the waters; the water came up to my knees. Again he measured one thousand and brought me through; the water came up to my waist. Again he measured one thousand, and it was a river that I could not cross; for the water was too deep, water in which one must swim, a river that could not be crossed. He said to me, “Son of man, have you seen this?” Then he brought me and returned me to the bank of the river. When I returned, there, along the bank of the river, were very many trees on one side and the other. Then he said to me: “This water flows toward the eastern region, goes down into the valley, and enters the sea. When it reaches the sea, its waters are healed. And it shall be that every living thing that moves, wherever the rivers go, will live. There will be a very great multitude of fish, because these waters go there; for they will be healed, and everything will live wherever the river goes.”

Habakkuk 1:5
“Look among the nations and watch – Be utterly astounded! For I will work a work in your days which you would not believe, though it were told you.

Zechariah 10:1
“Ask the Lord for rain in the time of the latter rain. The Lord will make flashing clouds; He will give them showers of rain, grass in the field for everyone.”

James 5: 7
“Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain.”
