For Those Refusing to Obey God in This Season
The handwriting is upon the wall for those refusing to obey God in this season and you will not escape the finger of God!
Last night I had a dream this policeman (those in authority and power) was racist and he went throughout the community mistreating others.
I had this cake and it was the most beautiful cake, but it was not enough to pass out to everybody, so I gave it to some, but everyone did not get a slice.
In the dream I was glad the racist police did not get any and even if there was some leftover to give, I feared to give him any for fear he would harm me, even if I gave him a slice!
Revelation and Application
I believe the LORD is going to deal with the spirit of racism and with those who have been unjustly and unfairly treating the people in this season. Their portion and provisions will be cut off for the wickedness they have done in serving the people!
The LORD spoke to me how he had sent Elijah as a deliver to rise up against the house of Ahab and Jezebel, because they used their powers and authority to suppress the people and to steal their inheritances!
You see, Ahab wanted Naboth’s vineyard and when Naboth refused to sell it, Ahab began to cry and whine like a baby. When Jezebel heard the news, she said to Ahab, “You know the vineyard Naboth wouldn’t sell you? Well, you can have it now! He’s dead!” So Ahab immediately went down to the vineyard of Naboth to claim it, (1 Kings 21:15-16 NLT).
But, as you well know, not only did Jezebel get wind of what was done, but it came up to high heaven into the nostrils of God and He was not pleased with what Ahab and Jezebel had done to possess this inheritance!
And, it came to pass that Ahab said to Elijah, “My enemy! You have found me!”
“I have found you,” he answered. “That’s because you gave yourself over to do evil things. You did what was evil in the sight of the LORD.
So the LORD says, ‘I am going to bring horrible trouble on you. I will destroy your children after you. I will cut off every male in Israel who is related to you. It does not matter whether they are slaves or free… You have made me very angry. You have caused Israel to commit sin.” (1 Kings 21:20-22)
Whenever God places public servants in office, they are called to service the people and when they utilize their power to control, manipulation and to do harm to the people they are called to serve, it angers God!
In this season, I believe that the LORD is going to cause His might arm of judgment to roll and to fall upon those He has called to do public service in our community, but who are causing His people harm and injustice in this season. You will not escape the judgment of God, just as Ahab and Jezebel did not escape!
You as the people of God, may have to go through and suffer for a season, but help is on the way and He is going to make your enemies your footstool in this season!
The LORD said to Elijah, “Get thee hence, and turn thee eastward, and hide (the LORD will hide you in the secret of his tabernacle from those that wish to harm you) thyself by the brook Cherith, that is before Jordan.
And it shall be, that thou shalt drink of the brook; and I have commanded the ravens to feed thee there. (And your portion shall be great! For God has not forgotten about you my friend!)
So he went and did according unto the word of the LORD: for he went and dwelt by the Brook Cherith, that is before Jordan. And the ravens brought him bread and flesh in the morning, and bread and flesh in the evening; and he drank of the brook. And it came to pass after a while, that the brook dried up, because there had been no rain in the land.
(And, it may seem like God is not coming but hold on because help is on the way! Do not lose faith or your great confidence in the LORD in this season!)
And the word of the LORD came unto him, saying, Arise, get thee to Zarephath, which belongeth to Zidon, and dwell there: behold, I have commanded a widow woman there to sustain thee. (The LORD always has a way made out of no way!)
So he arose and went to Zarephath. And when he came to the gate of the city, behold, the widow woman was there gathering of sticks: and he called to her, and said, Fetch me, I pray thee, a little water in a vessel, that I may drink. And as she was going to fetch it, he called to her, and said, Bring me, I pray thee, a morsel of bread in thine hand. And she said, As the LORD thy God liveth, I have not a cake (provision), but an handful of meal in a barrel, and a little oil in a cruse: and, behold, I am gathering two sticks, that I may go in and dress it for me and my son, that we may eat it, and die.
And Elijah said unto her, Fear not; go and do as thou hast said: but make me thereof a little cake first…
(Many times God is testing and stretching those that have to see if they will obey Him as an act of faith and obedience just so he can bless them in the little bit that they have because he knows that your blessings and your provision is tied up in helping someone else in need!)
….. and bring it unto me, and after make for thee and for thy son. For thus saith the LORD God of Israel, The barrel of meal shall not waste, neither shall the cruse of oil fail, until the day that the LORD sendeth rain upon the earth. And she went and did according to the saying of Elijah: and she, and he, and her house, did eat many days.” (1 Kings 17:2-15 KJV)
Come on somebody! I pray you caught that on this morning!
Who is your blessings and provisions tied to, that has to do with your acts of obedience this morning?
God has called many of you to publicly serve. You cannot afford to take advantage of others in this season, unless you risk the judgment and the hand of God coming against you!
It is far better to obey God, than man!
