Jesus said: “Why do you call me Lord, Lord, and do not the things I say?”

What even makes one walk away from such a wonderful Lord? Could it be [wondering] if they are “Walking Away” in reality or if it is they never were there to even Walk away from. Many profess to know him, but really FEW OBEY HIM AS THEIR LORD.

If He is the Lord of you than HE IS YOUR MASTER [or in street language… your BOSS]. Many seem to want to be identified with him, but few really take his Lordship serious.

After all, In the Book of Romans 10:9 it says: “Because IF you acknowledge and confess with your lips that Jesus is Lord and in hour heart believe (adhere to, trust in, and rely on the truth) that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved,” (AMP).

Note the FIRST PREREQUISITE TO SALVATION is….

TO CONFESS THAT JESUS CHRIST IS…..

LORD.

So many TALK, but Few follow. It could be said as well another way, MANY ARE CALLED AND FEW CHOSEN.
