For It Is True What You Said
A Psalm to praise and sing to The LORD, Out Loud.
For It Is True What You Said
Oh thank you Father LORD for being so good
For Your Patience and Mercy
In my times of learning and growing
For it is true what You said:
“My Mercies are new each morning.”
When I am in Your Presence
Everything around me falls away
You are in front of me and behind me
And Your Love surrounds me
Oh thank you Father LORD for being so good
Oh thank you Father LORD for being so good
For Your Comfort and Compassion
In my times of sorrow and pain
For it is true what You said:
“My Yoke is easy and My Burden is light.”
When I am in Your Presence
Everything around me falls away
You are in front of me and behind me
And Your Love surrounds me
Oh thank you Father LORD for being so good
Oh thank you Father LORD for being so good
For Your Strength and Courage
In my times when I’m feeling overwhelmed and discouraged
For it is true what You said:
“The Joy of The LORD is your strength.”
When I am in Your Presence
Everything around me falls away
You are in front of me and behind me
And Your Love surrounds me
Oh thank you Father LORD for being so good
Oh yeah, yeah, yeaaaah
Oh thank you Father LORD for being so good
For Your Faithfulness and Love
In my times of hardship and difficulties
For it is true what You said:
“Trust in Me and lean not on your own understanding.”
When I am in Your Presence
Everything around me falls away
You are in front of me and behind me
And Your Love surrounds me
Oh thank you Father LORD for being so good
Oh thank you Father LORD for being so good
For Your Protection and Shelter
In my times of trials and persecution
For it is true what You said:
“I am your Rock, in whom you can trust.”
When I am in Your Presence
Everything around me falls away
You are in front of me and behind me
And Your Love surrounds me
Oh thank you Father LORD for being so good
Oh thank you Father LORD for being so good
For Your Light and Truth
In my times of darkness and doubt
For it is true what You said:
“The Light shines in the darkness and the darkness has not overcome it.”
When I am in Your Presence
Everything around me falls away
You are in front of me and behind me
And Your Love surrounds me
Oh thank you Father LORD for being so good
Oh yeah, yeah, yeah yeaaaaahhhh
Oh thank you Father LORD for being so good
Thank you for Your Patience and Mercy
For Your Comfort and Compassion
For Your Strength and Courage
Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeaaaah, yeah
Thank you for Your Faithfulness and Love
For Your Protection and Shelter
For Your Light and Truth
Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeaaaah, yeah
Oh thank you Father LORD for being so good
Oh I thank you Father LORD for being so good!
Yeah, yeah, yeah oh yeah…..

Gabrielle Fuehrer came to The LORD in Spring 2020 and soon began receiving inspiration from The Holy Spirit in the form of Poems (Psalms), meant to praise, glorify and worship our Lord Jesus Christ and uplift the Body of Christ. A preschool teacher, surrounded by the blessings and love of the little ones she teaches, Gabrielle also runs the website, “Imagine a Love Like That“.
“Let everything that has breath praise The LORD.” Psalm 150:6.
Gabrielle, may I say your poems will both sing and preach! They are most beautiful and I believe straight from the Father’s heart.
May the Lord ever use you to refresh and bless the Body of Christ. Keep humble for you may be reaching and encouraging for more than you can possibly imagine. Hugs, Your Sister Joyce
