For A Moment…
Dear Brothers and Sisters,
This past weekend, The Holy Spirit led me to a video I normally would not think to watch, but there it was on my YouTube selection and I clicked on it to see what it was about.
I hope you will take the time to watch it out of your busy schedules.
I was so moved by this documentary of one saint’s trust in The LORD and his Obedience that I literally cried throughout the whole film.
The persecution of our brothers and sisters in other counties is severe and The LORD brought it to my attention that we need to pray for our family.
Pray that they have the courage they need to continue to spread the gospel no matter what the cost.
After watching this documentary Saturday night I woke up Sunday with it still lingering in my spirit.
As is my morning routine when I sit down with The LORD, I looked at my verse of the day calendar and there it was, confirmation from The LORD that He wanted me to write a psalm about this. (2 Corinthians 4:17. See below after the psalm for that Scripture.)
Later in the day, after completing it, the Holy Spirit nudged me to share it with my prayer call team that evening.
\We prayed for our brothers and sisters not just in Iran, but also in India and for the Armenian Christians being displaced and surrounded by the Syrian government, who is cutting off supplies to the people, and in essence performing ethic cleansing. It was a powerful prayer meeting.
This what the Holy Spirit wanted us to pray about.
Please pray with me for those in these countries who are standing for truth no matter the obstacles they face and the persecution and intimidation they endure daily at the cost of their lives and their friends and family:
Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father,
We raise up our brothers and sisters in countries around the world who are facing persecution daily for Your Namesake.
Please continue to give them grace and strength to fight the good fight of Faith.
To persist and not give in to intimidation no matter the cost. We stand with them in prayer and lift them up to You.
Keep watch over them and guide them in Your Paths.
May Your Spirit be with them always and may peace and grace and mercy go with them.
In Jesus’ Mighty Matchless Name.
Amen!
Watch — A Cry from Iran
A psalm to praise and sing to God, out loud.
For A Moment…
For our light affliction,
Which is for a moment,
Worketh for us a far more exceeding
And eternal weight of glory
Oh LORD guide me and keep me;
For every day I die unto my flesh
Seeking You with all my strength
To stand for what’s right—
To resist the traps of this world
To stand up to intimidation
And to walk in the Ways of Christ
No matter the cost
Even if it costs my life…
There is no greater love than that of a brother
Who lays down his life for another
Who exemplifies Christ in this life
Oh LORD, guide me and keep me
Oh Holy Spirit fill me
With the Father’s Light and Glory
So that He alone is magnified
Oh Holy Spirit fill me
With the Father’s Joy,
So that He alone is the source of my strength
And for all who see the Light in me
May they be drawn closer and want it too—-
Will want You… no matter the cost…
For what can mere mortals do to me
When You are with me?
And haven’t You said,
“If you love me, you will follow My Commands.”?
And haven’t You said,
“Pray for your enemies and love them”?
I walk in Your Assurances…
And in Your Truth….
Through the persecution
Through the adversity
Through the valley of the shadow of death
Oh I know it is all worth it;
For our light affliction,
Which is for a moment,
Worketh for us a far more exceeding,
And eternal weight of glory
To glorify and magnify You
To reach as many as possible
No matter the cost
So that Your Will be done:
That no man should perish
For what can mere mortals do to me
When You are with me?
And haven’t You said,
“If you love me, you will follow My Commands.”?
And haven’t You said,
“Pray for your enemies and love them”?
I walk in Your Assurances…
And in Your Truth….
Darkness cannot take away
The Light He has placed in you
Darkness cannot take away
The Love He has placed in you
Darkness cannot take away
The Purpose He has placed in you
So have no fear
And know it is all worth it
All worth the cost of dying to live
For our light affliction,
Which is for a moment,
Worketh for us a far more exceeding,
And eternal weight of glory
For what can mere mortals do to me
When You are with me?
Oh LORD guide me and keep me;
I walk in Your Assurances…
And in Your Truth….

Gabrielle Fuehrer came to The LORD in Spring 2020 and soon began receiving inspiration from The Holy Spirit in the form of Poems (Psalms), meant to praise, glorify and worship our Lord Jesus Christ and uplift the Body of Christ. A preschool teacher, surrounded by the blessings and love of the little ones she teaches, Gabrielle also runs the website, “Imagine a Love Like That“.
“Let everything that has breath praise The LORD.” Psalm 150:6.
Oh Gabrielle how deep, compelling and true. Beautifully and sensitively written and beautiful song, (Psalm)
I’m listening to the documentary right now. May we be true to the end to our Lord Jesus Christ! ❤️
Dear Beverly,
Haik’s purpose in Christ is still alive today. I truly believe that. His story has reached my ears and has increased my faith even more!. What the enemy means for harm and destruction, the LORD turns into good and for his Purpose. Fear not is mentioned in the Bible 365 times, one for each day of the year. We shall not have fear in our hearts, but courage and love! May the LORD strengthen us in our faith like He did with Haik so we can go forth and do Kingdom work in Love.
Much love to you dear sis. ❤️
Gabrielle
Dear Joyce!! Please forgive me for addressing you as Beverly! I was half sleeping when typing my message.
Nothing to forgive, beautiful sister. ❤️

Thank you Sheila for your comment. Prayer is a powerful weapon and we continue to pray for our brothers and sisters. Many blessings to you.

I was so drawn to your post today, Gabrielle. I read Chris’ post first after trying to process my dream and somewhat of a nightmare. All I can say is the Lord is trying to awaken American Christians up to what following Jesus truly is to so many in other countries. I have chills just trying to watch the movie so I had to stop because I was so shaken and crying. How very shallow Christianity has become in the US and how competitive for attention and fame and money. I find myself submitting to the pull of the Holy Spirit to intercede. Thanks so much for sharing the Father’s heart and the truth of what is really going on. This is not just a time to search for another comforting prophetic word but a time to run into the arms of our savior and cry out for mercy for the suffering and martyrs. May we realize how honored we are to serve Him and call Him LORD! xoxo Sandi
Dear Sandi,
We have life so easy here and we often forget what our brave brothers and sisters in other countries are going through. Even though this film was made awhile back, it is still relevant. The curious thing is that when I went back to my YouTube feed to find it, I did not see it again on my line up to watch! Usually videos will stay there. It is like the LORD really wanted to call attention to the Body of Christ of what is going on in other countries. To intercede and pray for them. It is a difficult film to watch, I agree, but now every day I think about those on the front lines working for the LORD regardless of the cost. May the LORD bless them richly for their fearless obedience.
Hugs and love to you.
