“Because of the grace that God gave me, I can say to each one of you: don’t think of yourself more highly than you ought to think. Instead, be reasonable since God has measured out a portion of faith to each one of you. We have many parts in one body, but the parts don’t all have the same function. In the same way, though there are many of us, we are one body in Christ, and individually we belong to each other. We have different gifts that are consistent with God’s grace that has been given to us. If your gift is prophecy, you should prophesy in proportion to your faith. If your gift is service, devote yourself to serving. If your gift is teaching, devote yourself to teaching. If your gift is encouragement, devote yourself to encouraging. The one giving should do it with no strings attached. The leader should lead with passion. The one showing mercy should be cheerful” Romans 12:3-8 (CEB).

The Lord was speaking to me just now about being devoted to your calling and doing it with the gifts that God has graced each one of us with. He said that if we think more highly of ourselves as it talks about here that we will not only try and do what God has graced us with, but that we will try and do everyone else’s part also thus wearing ourselves out! We must trust God with the God that is in our brothers and sisters and Focus or devote ourselves to the calling that He has placed upon our lives and then the body will work like a well oiled machine!

Then He said to me that many of you are worn out because you don’t trust the God inside your brothers and sisters to do their part. Then He said that it is only because they aren’t doing it the way that you expect it to be done, but the Lord said if you will learn to trust in Him. He will not only grow them up in Him but you will have peace and rest and you will do what you do better.

The Lord says:

“That is why I call it a body! FOCUS, DEVOTE, PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR CALLING RIGHT NOW for I can not give grace to that which is not yours to do! I am calling my body to grow up and show the world what the Fullness of the stature of the measure of Christ looks like and I can not do that unless you focus on your part! It is time to get in rank for the days ahead are evil and I need a body who knows their rank and does not step out of it. It is time to get in line. It is time to to go forward and shine as the people that I have called you to be!”

“Therefore, brothers and sisters, be eager to confirm your call and election. Do this and you will never ever be lost” 2 Peter 1:10 (CEB).

“They run like mighty men; they climb the wall like men of war. They march each one [straight ahead] on his ways, and they do not break their ranks. Neither does one thrust upon another; they walk every one in his path. And they burst through and upon the weapons, yet they are not wounded and do not change their course” Joel 2:7-8 (AMP).
