Five Prophetic Signs in Super Bowl XLIX
Did you catch the prophetic signs in this year’s Super Bowl? While the game was entertaining to watch, the real excitement to me was how God spoke directly to the people surrounding the events.
Modern parables
God can speak in so many ways: dreams, visions, the Bible, music, art and nature, the list goes on and on. So just as the game’s opening Star-Spangled Banner starts with Oh say can you see?, God is giving you an opportunity to use your spiritual eyes to see things in a new way.
Sudden turnaround
On January 18, God spoke to me that the Seattle Seahawks would beat the Green Bay Packers in the NFC conference championship game. On the same day God told me the New England Patriots would go on to win the Super Bowl against Seattle . It all happened just as God said, but it was unnerving to watch.
What I noticed about how I heard God in these two cases was that both games ended in a sudden turnaround. Each was considered a “last minute miracle.”
In fact, my prophetic article from December 2014 was entitled, “Time for a Sudden Turnaround!” which you can read here.
What were the signs?
There were many prophetic signs in the Super Bowl this year and God spoke to me that He would get the glory in the end. I heard people talking about the Christians on the Seattle Seahawks team, saying that was going to be the sign. But that is not what I heard God saying. In fact, in the midst of “deflate gate” and accusations of dishonesty, God found a way to get glory and speak through a New England Patriot rookie.
A humble rookie seer
New England Patriots Malcolm Butler intercepted a pass from star Seattle quarterback Russell Wilson, who had won the Super Bowl last year. During an interview at the end of the game, Butler said that he had a vision that he would make a big play. If you look at his Twitter page you will see that he is indeed a Christian and on January 28th prior to the Super Bowl he tweeted, “Be humble-be blessed”
Unknown face tells the world
Did you catch that? In front of about one hundred million people, in a stadium full of fans, an unknown, praying believer shares that he saw a vision about the football game. This is the beginning of many people like Butler showing their relationship with God by seeing what God shows them and then telling others about it.
Miracle ending
It was a prophetic sign that an unknown young player could suddenly step on the scene at the right time. God is raising up unknown people, and like Butler, they will be humble and able to hear His voice. Even if you don’t feel like you are in the game until the very end, God will bring you a surprise blessing.
Five major signs from the Super Bowl
- Watch for last minute turnarounds in your life.
- God is going to suddenly promote humble unknown people.
- Watch and listen for God to speak to you in dreams and visions.
- Don’t judge things with your natural mind.
- Have faith in what God is speaking to you right now.
Let’s keep watching for signs
This is the start of the new time of breakthrough. Watch for prophetic signs to confirm this .God is going to do things suddenly and we will see miracle turnarounds in our lives starting now.
This is such an exciting time to be alive!
Blessings,
