Fire and Glory!
You have to go through the fire, in order to carry the fire.
The sad thing is, people want to carry the fire and glory but, do not want to go through the process of it.
The fire purify’s the heart to usher in the true love of God and the glory of God that his will and purposes will be fulfilled in our lives no other way. The fire changes us more into the image of God.
Many love to speak about the fire baptism and judge others who are going through it, never realizing that they are trying to go around it rather than through it themselves.
What they fail to recognize is that they are next because with that same measurement they judge others who are submitting to the process is the same in which they will be judged.
Front-line and forerunners go first so do not try to judge to harshly you just may be next in line. Are you willing to drink of that cup?
“But Jesus answered and said, Ye know not what ye ask. Are ye able to drink of the cup that I shall drink of, and to be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with? They say unto him, We are able. And he saith unto them, Ye shall drink indeed of my cup, and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with: but to sit on my right hand, and on my left, is not mine to give, but it shall be given to them for whom it is prepared of my Father.” Matthew 20:22-23.
“He went away again the second time, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if this cup may not pass away from me, except I drink it, thy will be done.” Matthew 26:42.
Thank God, Jesus was willing to drink of that cup, for unless He did and died to flesh, there wold have been no resurrection possible.
When God did raise Jesus from the dead, all his body parts were dead, yet He stood before His disciples alive as flesh and bone, not as spirit, and very plainly said to them; “Touch Me, handle Me, and see a spirit does not have flesh and bone as you see me have.”
The wicked one could not touch those parts, His flesh, ever again, because those parts came from heaven!
However, there can be no resurrection without the death of flesh!
So unless the flesh parts had died, He could not have received His new ones!
Unless He drank of that cup of suffering, then none of that Glory of Resurrection would have ever taken place.
There is purpose in your pain and suffering. Ponder that one!
No pain, no gain….. If you do not suffer with him you cannot reign with him.
“And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.
And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.” Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time,” Revelation 12:10-12.
“Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years,” Revelation 20:6.
“But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.” 2 Peter 3:8.
“If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us.” 2 Timothy 2:12.
“Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ’s sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.
If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified. But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men’s matters. Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf. For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God? And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?
Wherefore LET THEM THAT SUFFER ACCORDING TO THE WILL OF GOD commit the keeping of their souls to him in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator,” 1 Peter 4:12-19.
