Filled with Holy Desire
5 Words in 1
God’s heart is filled with compassion and brims over with Love towards His children. He is passionate to have fellowship and companionship with us.
When our hearts are filled with His heart, we have the same burning desire consuming us for His Presence.
We do not only visit His Presence, but long to “dwell under the shadow of His wing”. We are not entertained by His Spirit’s works of Power, but crave deeply to be quenched with His Holy Love.
We seek not His Word only for our comfort or consolation, but as Jeremiah, we long to consume it until it consumes us and becomes His “Fire burning in our bones”.
We find ourselves restlessly “panting” after the only thing we know will quench a thirst too severe for anything else to satisfy – The sweet Waters of His Living Presence – The River of His Love flowing from the cup of our Master.

This still remains true. He is still our Source of provision and our Supernatural God of protection.
A while ago I heard Him say, “The fulfillment of My promise to you lives in Me and is found in faithfulness to Me, it is not vested in opportunity that comes your way.
I AM your River of sustenance, Your brook of supply in all seasons. This River always runs constant and steady, never runs low and never runs dry!
Seek My promises in Me and not in opportunity that comes your way!”

Brokenness is the bedrock of the Christian’s life.
It is our force of gravity that keeps us secure in our daily walk with God and in our ministry of His Life to others.
So many times claims are made through knowledge taught and learned, brokenness brings us into experience of what we can never come to know by learned knowledge obtained – But only know in the reality of His Life in us – The life of being One with Him in Spirit.

Ministry without relationship is an occupation, not a calling!
It is my life in Christ first, then His heart in me, before I can go in obedience where He leads to be, to do as He bids.

Ministry is not about helping oneself. It is about helping others. It is a life and a calling of self sacrifice and offers no room for the flesh to be pampered, celebrated or praised.
It leaves no room for personal ambitions or goals. It is a selfless life yielded in obedience to God and in service of His will to be done.
