Feelings Vs. Truth
All around us we find the shifting sands of our feelings. They change with the direction of the wind. As a result we never know what we will feel from one second to the next. Our feelings often lead us down dark alleyways of deception.
Conversely, God’s truth is true north. It never changes. No matter where we are, no matter what feel; if we listen to His guidance, His compass will lead us back to our true home.
“The sum of your word is truth, and every one of your righteous rules endures forever,” Psalm 119:160.
“…your word is truth,” John 17:17.
“Lead me in your truth and teach me, for you are the God of my salvation; for you I wait all the day long,” Psalm 25:5.
“Send out your light and your truth; let them lead me; let them bring me to your holy hill and your dwelling!” Psalm 43:3.
“Teach me your way, O LORD, that I may walk in your truth; unite my heart to fear your name,” Psalm 86:11.

When the Lord, through experiences, showed me that I could stand on His Word independently of what i felt and independently of circumstances I was delivered from a lot of fear.
