Fear Not, but Yet We Must Fear God Always!
Today we will attempt to contrast both the fear of man and the fear of God, mostly through some scriptures.
A fear spirit will keep us bound, but yet The Holy Reverential Fear of God will keep us from sinning!
Good morning.
“And Moses said unto the people, Fear not: for God is come to prove you, and that his fear may be before your faces, that ye sin not. And the people stood afar off, and Moses drew near unto the thick darkness where God was.” Exodus 20:20-21
Moving on now, we see here how God gave the people solid instruction concerning Saul being king.
“If ye will fear The LORD, and serve him, and obey his voice, and not rebel against the commandment of The LORD, then shall both ye and also the king that reigneth over you continue following The LORD your God:” 1 Samuel 12:14
The people of Israel and King Saul chose to be disobedient!
Still, God set up the kingdom with David on the throne later on!
Now we see a Word in Isaiah bringing to us much comfort!
“Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.” Isaiah 41:10
God is all about removing fear from us!
“I sought The LORD, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.” Psalm 34:4
We all know fear has torment. Still we see:
“There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.” 1 John 4:18
“For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” 2 Timothy 1:7
“Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably, with reverence and awe.” Hebrews 12:28
In closing today:
“And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ The LORD.” Luke 2:10-11
Fear not, Christ The LORD is ‘Alive’ forevermore!
God bless you all.

Good morning, my sister and friend. If ever there was a word in season from our comforter, this one line would rise to the top of the morning! ‘God is all about removing fear from us!’
“I sought The LORD, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.” Psalm 34:4 Love it!! Moving forward fearless by His grace, xoxo Sandi
Yes, Sandi exactly. We know the Lord is wanting to remove all fear from us. Still it tries to raise its ugly head at times. Pressing in and on with the Lord each day. One day we will arrive! :) I love you much my sister and friend. ❤️
