Over the past several months the LORD has positioned me in an increasing measure into the conversations taking place over on YouTube. One of the discussion strings that I began sparked a great deal of debate and I’ve received a great deal of responses. Some have come alongside to support the position I assert but many others have raged against me . I know it is not truly me but the truth I have spoken. That’s another topic in and of itself that I won’t go into right now.

The reason for this note is a response I received that moved my heart. I realized as I was responding to this person that there are likely many others coming from a similar position. For that reason I hope that the words of my response to them not only benefit the person who asked but others as well.

Hi. Can u help me please? I read your entire comment for the video of “The Illuminati knows what’s coming September 22-28th 2015” video and it helped me but I was wondering when you have a moment if u could read my comment that I posted about 20 min ago so it shouldn’t be super hard to find. It’s under the name _____. It explains my enormous amount of fear I am living in everyday and confusion as well. If u can’t then to sum it up I am petrified as to what’s gonna happen to myself my kids and my mom. My family period if and when something or someone does anything to us whether it be on a certain day or not. I’m confused about whether jesus will save us. Us being the ones that believe and love him and have accepted him as our Lord and savior. My comment is so much more descriptive and detailed in relation to my fears, concerns and my confusion. I want you to give me insight, peace of mind, references, information period because you were the only one out of all the comments I read that made sense. It’s the only comment that eased my anxiety and made me stop crying in fear of my demise and the demise of my loved ones and most importantly the outcome of our souls and where they will go and how that is ultimately determined. Will God protect me and my family if we are true believers and he’s in our hearts and we’ve given ourselves to him the best we could? I’m so confused and afraid. Please help me. Please help me. Please help me I’m so so so very afraid. I just don’t think you understand how scared I am. Thank you.

I hope you get a notification of my response to you so that you come back here. This is not an area where I commonly correspond. I want to respond to some of your initial questions (I didn’t see a comment from you on the video you referenced).

There are a few pertinent scriptures I would like to reference. This is not an exhaustive list by any means but all of these came to mind immediately for me.

“Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell,” Jesus, in (Matthew 10:28).

“Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour,” 1 Peter 5:8.

“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full,” Jesus in John 10:10.

“For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline,” 2 Timothy 1:7.

None of these things referenced from scripture have changed. These are timeless truths regardless of circumstance. Yes, the fact is that the United States is about to plunged into unprecedented difficulty. That is the reality of where we are but it does not force us to any particular response. Sister, you were chosen to live on the earth in this period of time. It was not accident. This tells me that God has a purpose for you. These times, as difficult as they may seem, are the times which were spoken of in scripture and they are the times that must take place . In my view it is a privilege to be alive in these times. There is an opportunity to make an impact. That can be as simple as responding to a stranger on YouTube who has been overcome by fear as a result of some of the things which are inevitably to come.

I advise you not to live a life of fear. You may ask how that is possible. Let me tell you. First you must come to a conclusion as to who God is and who you are in relation to Him. Let’s take the last part of that first. Have you put the full weight of your faith in Jesus? Have you confessed and repented of your sins? Have you asked for His forgiveness? Do you have a desire to walk with the LORD in relationship? All of these things are of great importance but all of them lead up to that last question. If you have not been born again then you cannot enter into relationship with God. Jesus says in John 14:6, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” So all the birthrights are only available to those who are born into the Kingdom of God. Make sense?

Now, regarding relationship my first question is whether that is something you truly desire. In our culture it seems that people are more invested into a sports team or not missing American Idol than in having a real, authentic relationship with the Creator of the universe. It seems very strange to me but then I have been there so I can relate. However, I have also been on the other side of the equation and in fact live in that place. I have a relationship with God. I hear His voice and He gives me leadership, wisdom and comfort just to name a few.

It may seem strange and unorthodox to actually “hear from God” but I tell you the truth, it is not. Jesus reminds us in John 10:27, “My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.” Are you one of His sheep? If so and you are not hearing His voice you should ask yourself, WHY?. You NEED to hear Him particularly in the coming season.

One last thing I want to ask is in regards to where you stand with trusting God. Please don’t go with a knee jerk response here. Rather, ponder the question and really ask yourself. I would consider my answers to these 3 things:

1. Do you believe truly that God is in control?

2. Do you believe that nothing can happen unless He allows it?

3. Do you truly believe that He loves you?

Your honest answer to those questions should help you to understand where you are in regards to trusting God.

I mention these things because of the emotions you express. Fear, confusion, panic… these things, as mentioned above, are not of or from God. If they are not from Him, the question is, where they are coming from?

Dispel these lies and walk into the truth of God’s word. It’s not just an ancient texts with some useful stories. It is the operations manual for our lives. Receive peace, joy and contentment in knowing that your God is the Maker of the universe and yet He knows the number of hairs on your head, that despite these difficult times we are in (or perhaps even because them) He has a plan, purpose and destiny for you.
