False Doctrine: “God is in Control of Everything”
We see that Jesus is good and all He does is good.
Acts 10 even tells us that,
“God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.” Acts 10:38
This verse, as well as other verses, show us that Jesus only did good things.
So, if Jesus is in control of everything then:
- Why are babies killed in the womb?
- Why are there wars?
- Why was Hitler allowed to kill millions?
- Why is there starvation?
- Why is there sexual abuse of children?
These things are happening, so we can see that Jesus is not in control of everything on this earth.
If Jesus was in control of everything then good things would be happening.
For example, babies would not be aborted, there would be peace and not wars, Hitler would have submitted to the authority of Jesus, everyone would have food to eat, and no children would be abused.
False doctrine is believing Jesus is in control of everything on this earth.
This thinking of “Do not worry, God is in control” — encourages people to not to use their authority and mouths to change circumstances in their lives as to align with the will of God.
Jesus says: “Many of My people are confused. There is a difference in the things that I allow and the things I have My hand in.
Many bad things happen and people think I controlled that. That is not true.
Did I allow it? Yes. But I did not control it.
People have to understand that I AM not bad! Why would I make bad things happen?
I allow things! I do not control everything!
Repent of your wicked ways. I do not do evil things.”

Travis Coffey was called by Christ to be a prophet. His desire is to help people get informed about who Jesus is, and what is He is doing during these end times.
Finally someone had the courage to say this. I have been at odds with others on this issue, you can understand why, being in agreement with everything you wrote in the article. I know of only a couple more preachers who say this phrase ‘God is in control’ is not good doctrine.
If he were in control, to give an example, then where does my disobedience and going astray and making a mess of my life falls into? I did it to myself, it wasn’t God’s doing. This narrative gives us false hope that no matter the good or bad things we do, He’s in control of those. I don’t know, I just can’t follow this logic. That He can redeem pretty much anything when we repent and turn to Him, yes, true. But in control? No. Sovereign? Yes.
Amen!
