False Brothers Who Masquerade as Christians
Even as in Paul’s day, there are still many False Brothers (who do Masquerade to be Christians), going about to bring great division in the Body of Christ.
We must consider who these people actually were…..
In the Days described below, they were people who were saying that a person saved by Grace, had to yet keep The Law and be Circumcised, and to even keep The Sabbath Day.
Please read the below description of these people, and know that even today many are…
False Brethren…. Not Christian — but in “name only!”
Be careful of the division the False Brethren are refusing to stand firm upon the correct Gospel Message….
Which is…. Salvation by Grace and Faith, in the finished work of Jesus Christ for the sins of the world.
In taking your stand for the “True Gospel Message of Grace” — you will be confronting false brothers, and people who are not even Christians themselves!
“My concern was because of the false brothers [those people masquerading as Christians] who had been secretly smuggled in [to the community of believers]. They had slipped in to spy on the freedom which we have in Christ Jesus, in order to bring us back into bondage [under the Law of Moses].
But we did not yield to them even for a moment, so that the truth of the gospel would continue to remain with you [in its purity]. But from those who were of high reputation (whatever they were — in terms of individual importance — makes no difference to me; God shows no partiality — He is not impressed with the positions that people hold nor does He recognize distinctions such as fame or power) — well, those who were of reputation contributed nothing to me [that is, they had nothing to add to my gospel message nor did they impose any new requirements on me].”” Galatians 2:4-6

Yes sir. The false teachings of Law and/or mixed Grace – The CHURCH knows, that Jesus gets to the heart of the matter and gives us 2 commands. Matt. 22:37-40. Notice Jesus didn’t call it a “law” but a command/s. The One with ALL authority. Church what we hear determines what we believe. Listen. John 1:14.
