Faithfulness
Faithfulness is a persevering trait and so many give up too easy on each other, because few of us are healed enough.
We get too busy with life also, so just because you aren’t cared for by some in the church doesn’t mean they don’t care at all, but maybe your rejection is keeping you from being able to receive, and criticism is very strong in those who’ve been wounded deeply.
It’s not easy to persevere in relationships that have soured, or where offenses have come. It is especially hard when people are too proud to talk about it, or really try to talk in order to come to an understanding. And there are always those who refuse to change and/ or forgive.
“But with me it is a very small thing that I should be judged by you or by a human court. In fact, I do not even judge myself. For I know of nothing against myself, yet I am not justified by this; but He who judges me is the LORD,” 1 Corinthians 4:3-4.
The word JUDGED here is NT:350 anakri/nw anakrínō (an-ak-ree’-no); from NT:303 and NT:2919; properly, to scrutinize, i.e. (by implication) investigate, interrogate, determine: KJV – ask, question, discern, examine, judge, search.
If you think on the later part of this verse. Paul is saying I don’t even scrutinize myself. So HE ALLOWS the HOLY SPIRIT to scrutinize, examine, investigate his heart and to convict him of sin. So we need to be less navel-oriented, and, by worship and the Word of God and prayer, let the Holy Spirit speak to us.
But we know there are many who are not doing this, as they are busy scrutinizing others, still bound by critical spirits that come with rejection and pain. We are to DISCERN, study to show ourselves approved so we will know what is right or wrong in teachings given, or prophecies heard.
But so many of us are unhealed that there is mixture of what we hear and understand, and those lacking in study of the WORD of GOD, or just depending on their preacher to teach them without studying themselves, keep grabbing on to things not sound or healthy spiritually.
“Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the LORD comes, who will both bring to light the hidden things of darkness and reveal the counsels of the hearts. Then each one’s praise will come from God,” 1 Corinthians 4:5.
Paul makes it clear with this following the above, that we are NOT to scrutinize, examine, or interrogate or investigate others as much as to allow the HOLY SPIRIT to do that, and PRAY for others, bearing one another’s burdens means to intervene for them in battling those demonic strongholds that have hold of their minds.
And if we have relationship with someone the word admonishes us to correct them in a spirit of humility and love, if we discern a lie, and pray they will accept the TRUTH so they will be saved from deception. Pray for the scales to come off their eyes, and the pride to be crushed and defeated in their lives.
Paul cautions us that the LORD when HE comes will sort it all out, and reveal the truth in people’s hearts. We can never judge another’s heart because we don’t know everything about most people.
We can judge actions, behaviors, but their heart, only GOD knows. And He doesn’t entrust what HE knows to someone who doesn’t have HIS heart! Some judge on appearances, and language without asking GOD’s heart for that person.
If you are feeling to reject someone, maybe it’s because there is a spirit of rejection that is heavily still on them, causing you to feel that way! PRAY against the spirit, not the person! And Paul adds the LORD will then directly reward you.
That is how you know when you get some prophet, pastor or teacher chastising you PUBLICLY in front of a whole congregation, and humiliating you, that it is NOT GOD!
It is NOT God’s heart to embarrass anyone. It is ONLY when God knows that a heart is wicked, and stubborn, that HE might expose something publicly like that! And if HE does, He will use a tender heart most of the time to do it, [98% of the time].
John the Baptist was great, but JESUS said, that any one of us who believed is GREATER than him ! wow, that’s quite a statement of the GRACE OF GOD, when we are saved by HIS DEATH ON THE CROSS.
HE took all the punishment and humiliation for us. His heart is to correct you, that you may turn to HIM, repent and be saved. It is not to publicly humiliate anyone. Men or women who do this are looking to make a name for themselves and giving in to religious spirits who are eager little demons to humiliate the saints of God.
I was once in a meeting for women, that a friend invited me to. This woman speaking was a supposed Hebrew Scholar. So in the middle of the talk, I raised my hand to ask a question, which apparently irritated her.
And after she was done, she prophesied wonderful, and nice things to everyone. But when she got to me, she shouted like a madman, “GET BACK IN THE DESERT ! GET BACK IN THE DESERT!“ and couple more words. And thank GOD I had my armor on.
I was at peace, though shocked. My question was not to humiliate her, so I couldn’t understand where that came from. The thing is that she may have been right in the wording, but the emphasis and embarrassment was unreal for how loud critical attitude it seemed to have, and with what seemed like a demonic shouting!
Demons know things about you and can use the voice of even saints to speak. I also have found that Jezebel spirits are very good at this! They know things about you and will rub it in your face, over and over.
