Faith is Just Acting Like It’s True —
While Your Shaking in Your Boots!

 

“So Jesus answered and said to them, “Have faith in God. For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says,” “ Mark 11:22-23 NKJV.

I remember a day when I began to speak before people and proclaim The Word of God that, because of lack of experience, I would speak God’s Word because I had a gift to teach and preach, but I had no experience, as it says in Hebrews.

I was unskilled in the Word of Righteousness. But something in me believed it would work!

I was teaching and speaking by Faith and one day I was standing there proclaiming, while I was shaking in my boots thinking “God — this had better work!”

And He said to me, “Don’t you even show them or the devil with your words or actions that you have any doubt.”

So from that day forward, I determined to speak His Word by Faith, weather I had experienced it or not.

He also told me that if we are to ever lead, we must not appear to waver about His Word!

He said, “If you do not appear to believe My Word, they will never believe what you say! The Authority is in My Word!”

Kenneth E. Hagin Senior use to say, “Faith is just acting like The Word of God is true!”

So I know this is going to shake some people’s paradigm — but sometimes you just gotta fake it till you make it!

By that I mean, you just need to act like the word is true — whether you’re shaking in your boots or not!

People will not believe a person who wavers, for one thing, and for another, you will never know that God will “watch over His word to perform it!” (Jeremiah 1:12)

No, it won’t happen until you speak it with assurance and boldness just because it is God’s Word and because God said it! Then you have to ACT like it is the truth!

Then and only then will you begin to see the fulfillment of that Word come to pass in your life and the lives of others thus causing others to have faith and trust in The LORD!

“By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith,” Hebrews 11:7.
