When men build upon FACTS OF SCRIPTURE, the end results are very good and helpful to all.

But when men build upon something less than Facts of Scripture, the result is damaging and leads to ruin.

The Scripture given to us from The LORD God’s Word and contains only Facts.

The Scripture declares of itself:

“All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: that the man of god may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.” 2 Timothy 3:16-17

If any person has not yet settled in his/her heart that The Word of God is perfect, then the difficulty of living right and doing God’s Perfect Will will be greatly hindered.

The Fact is, The Word of God is a Light!

See Psalm 119:

“I have refrained my feet from every evil way, that I might keep thy word.
I have not departed from thy judgments: for thou hast taught me.
How sweet are thy words unto my taste! yea, sweeter than honey to my mouth!
Through thy precepts I get understanding: therefore I hate every false way.
Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.
I have sworn, and I will perform it, that I will keep thy righteous judgments.” Psalm 119:101-106

The Scripture Facts are like a Lamp to my feet and understanding of every false way.

When one departs from The Word of God to conduct any sort of work or deed, his way becomes dark and obscured, and that one will wind up further out of God’s Will and purposes than even imagined.

Many today have departed from The Word of God which is fact to be followed. The result of such a departure is clearly seen in the confusion of today, in many Churches and Christians.

The Fact is clear… when men error from The Word, then this leads to man made religion, and that way is not God’s Way — but is man’s way! It always leads to ruin.

Religion is men interpreting the Holy Scriptures in false ways causing many men to walk in A False Belief System.

I once heard this Illustration by a Great Man of God, he said:

“The Believer’s life is like one on a Highway.

One can in the beginning be on the Highway and walking blessed, but when that person leaves the highway he suddenly finds himself in the “Ditch”.

Now that he is in the ditch, he continues to walk forward but, he walks another way beside the Highway.

Suddenly he realizes his “Ditch-way” is not God’s Perfect Way or Highway! He suddenly sees that ahead the ditch-way will lead into a river over which he will not be able to cross, because the bridge is on the Highway he left, then his ditch-way is blocked and he is unable to do anything more. He is stuck in the ditch.

To get back on the highway so he can proceed forward, he finds he must Repent of his departure from the Highway and in order to do that, he must go back to where he got off the Highway, repenting of the reasons he left the Highway.

If he doesn’t go back to his wrong and make it right he cannot gain again the Highway.”

One cannot get totally right again until his ditch-way is forsaken and he again gets on the right Highway!

Many today are in the ditch, walking in a false way. They have departed from the clear Word of God, to walk in the ditch of deception!

The Fact is…. many today walk outside God’s Word — and are leading lives of deception

They may not even know it yet, but, they will never succeed to the right outcome until they get back to The Word of God.

Then, if they do not go back and do so, they will walk further and further away from The Truth.

Their way then even becomes more confusing.

The Fact is: many are deceived and hurt by some false way they are walking on. Many False Belief Systems are today followed by many.

They are walking on a way which God never intended them to walk — but they don’t even know it — because they have followed a man who waled away from The Word of God.

The results of this ditch-way is a messed up profession.

Many today are led to believe many false teachings that have come by someone who has walked away from The Word of God, and so now there are many who follow in the ditch of deception.

The Fact is… then Men must Repent of the Religious Ways [even if they are now popular by many] and seek the way back upon The Highway of The Word of God.

The Scripture tells us another Fact: when the Jewish Believers who came down to see the happening of Pentecost [when the Holy Spirit came with a mighty rushing wind and the event was “Noised Abroad” because of great things happening] they were touched and convicted by The Holy Spirit speaking through Peter and they cried out:

“Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?
Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as The LORD our God shall call.
And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation.
Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls. And they continued stedfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers. And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles” Acts 2:37-43

The Jewish men cried out… “What shall we do now?”

Then Peter said to them: “Repent of your religion — and turn to Jesus because your religion is false!”

The Fact is: Repentance is a change in direction, a change bringing the right way.

These Jewish men were now told they must Repent of their False Religion [the Jewish way of walking along with all their ideas].

When they did repent, they too became True Believers in Jesus Christ, and they were Baptized as those who follow Jesus.

They were then told to be baptized because of their change of mind. Then the Scripture says, they continued to walk steadfastly in the Apostles’ Doctrine.

The Fact was and is… they went back and received Jesus Christ, Whom they had hung on a Cross and rejected. They “changed Churches” so to speak… They got in the right one!

To apply this Message further now, let me say this:.

When men left the Teaching of Jesus — Who told his early Disciples to wait in Jerusalem until they received power to be Witnesses — then walked on without waiting, they did not become good witnesses!

The Fact is: many a Believer has been led to believe that somehow they can Work the Works of God in their own strength, and can go out and preach and teach without the Power found in the Baptism with the Holy Spirit.

This one walk has led them into the Ditch of The False Walk, and the entering into a way which was not capable of even accomplishing any real Work of God, and now they are left in much confusion.

The Fact is: many are deceived into not believing in the Necessity of receiving the Baptism with The Holy Spirit, and they are now entering into daily more and more deception.

The deception is adequately described in the following Bible Story of Facts:

“And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God; I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.
So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.
Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked: I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see. As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.“ Revelation 3:14-19

I believe the Scriptures to show us the condition of a Church which leaves the principals of The Word of God, then… The Laodicean Church was neither hot or cold.

They were blind and did not even know it. They thought themselves to be rich, but they were poor, their money needed to be purified in the fire, and they needed to put on white clothing to hide their nakedness.

The LORD said He would spew them out of His Mouth!

The Facts matter!

If any Believer or Church does not follow The Word of God, they will be like The Laodicean Church — poor blind and naked, and not even know it!
