Eyes to See in 2023
In three of The Gospels, Jesus taught the people using a parable about a man sowing seed which was symbolic for the Word of God.
He gave an illustration about four different types of soil in which the seed was sown. This parable as an analogy of the condition of people’s hearts.
Some seed fell on hard ground, which describes the person who won’t even receive the Word of God because they are not interested.
The rocky ground represents those people who receive the Word of God, but don’t have enough soil for the seed to take root, so they eventually lose interest in spiritual things.
The thorny ground represents those people who are concerned with secular things and caught up in the cares of this world, therefore they never became grounded in the Word of God.
But then there are those who are good ground and receive the Word into their hearts as fertile soil and produce one hundred, sixty and thirty times what was sown.
Notice that it was all the same seed, cast by the same sower, but each person received and discerned it differently . After Jesus told this parable, He said: “He who has ears, let him hear,” (Matthew 11:15).
His disciples asked Him why He spoke in parables. Jesus replied: “Because it has been given to you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it has not been given,” (Matthew 13:11).
The Passion Translation says: “You’ve been given the intimate experience of insight into the hidden mysteries of the realm of heaven’s kingdom, but they have not.”
For everyone who listens with an open heart will receive progressively more revelation until he has more than enough. But those who don’t listen with an open, teachable heart, even the understanding that they think they have will be taken from them.
He quoted from the book of Isaiah and then said: “But blessed are your eyes for they see, and your ears for they hear; for assuredly, I say to you that many prophets and righteous men desired to see what you see, and did not see it, and to hear what you hear, and did not hear it,” (Matthew 13:16-17).
This scripture is speaking about those of us who receive this revelation from The Holy Spirit.
This afternoon I was watching a video of one of Rodney Howard Browne’s older meetings where there were Angels singing in the service.
I heard it audibly and felt a tangible swirling presence of the Angels, and powerful presence of The Holy Spirit. I was caught up in the glory of God just as if I was there.
The LORD wants to take all of us into divine encounters. He who has an ear, let him/her hear.
The LORD says; “I AM opening My People’s eyes to See in 2023.
I AM releasing revelation in this season to those who have a heart to perceive it. As you receive My Word into your heart as fertile ground, it will bring restoration and renewal.
It will bring peace and comfort to your innermost being. My Word is medication to your flesh, even to the joints and marrow of your bones.
You say, “But my strength is waning away, my memory is failing and my eyes are dimming!” But, My Word is alive, operative, energizing and effective. It is sharper than any double-edged sword, and it penetrates even to the core of your being. It divides soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges and interprets and reveals the secret motives and attitudes of the heart.
“Is not My word like a fire?” says The LORD, “And like a hammer that breaks the rock in pieces?
Don’t allow fear to grip your heart, and refuse to allow thoughts of anger to fester in your mind.
Take every thought captive and make it obedient to My Word. Don’t allow words of death spoken over your life take root.
Never listen to voices that are contrary to My Word. Cancel every evil assignment that is sent against you.
I’ve given you eyes to see, not just natural sight but eyes to discern.
I AM calling you to come up higher. Receive this revelation of Eyes to See in 2023.
Let your hearts be enlightened so that you will see who you really are in Me. Pray as King David did, asking: “Open my eyes to see the miracle-wonders hidden in Your Word.”
Receive all that I have for you!” says The LORD.
“Open my eyes to see the miracle-wonders hidden in your word.” Psalm 119:18 (TPT)
“But blessed are your eyes for they see, and your ears for they hear; for assuredly, I say to you that many prophets and righteous men desired to see what you see, and did not see it, and to hear what you hear, and did not hear it.” Matthew 13:16-17
“For the Word that God speaks is alive and full of power [making it active, operative, energizing, and effective]; it is sharper than any two-edged sword, penetrating to the dividing line of the breath of life (soul) and [the immortal] spirit, and of joints and marrow [of the deepest parts of our nature], exposing and sifting and analyzing and judging the very thoughts and purposes of the heart.” Hebrews 4:12 (AMPC)
