Possessing the Good Land
It is impossible to possess the good land when you allow the enemy to distract you and to lead you away from the good land that God has promised you!
See the cross, and remain focused on your destiny. Satan can’t distract you when your focus is the cross of Christ!
On this morning, I believe that the LORD is extending some roses of “wisdom” to His people.
He said that wisdom brings about understanding, instructions, and correction in the lives of his people. And, not only will it bring about these things but it will bring them into the good land that he has promised them if they continue on the road to his path and don’t allow the enemy to distract them from the commandments of God.
The LORD revealed to me that He has given His People good doctrine and in order to possess the land He has given us, we cannot allow the enemy to distract us from what he has promised unto us!
He said that His People are like the sheep being led to the slaughter, but like a hen covers her children, so will Elohim cover you; those who are called by His Name!
I heard the LORD say,
“Get wisdom, get understanding: forget it not; neither decline from the words of my mouth. Forsake her not, and she shall preserve thee: love her, and she shall keep thee. Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding. Exalt her, and she shall promote thee: she shall bring thee to honour, when thou dost embrace her. She shall give to thine head an ornament of grace: a crown of glory shall she deliver to thee,” (Proverbs 4:5-9 KJV).
How do we get wisdom?
James 1:5-6 says that If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
The LORD wants to show His People the complete picture in this season and He wants to be both a shield and a covering for the righteous!
In this season, I believe that God is shining the light upon the hearts of the people in order to reveal those that are wicked; those disguising themselves in sheep clothing!
For, I heard Him say to take fast hold of instruction; let her not go: keep her; for she is thy life.
Enter not into the path of the wicked, and go not in the way of evil men. Avoid it, pass not by it, turn from it, and pass away.
For they sleep not, except they have done mischief; and their sleep is taken away, unless they cause some to fall.
For they eat the bread of wickedness, and drink the wine of violence. But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day, (Proverbs 4:13-18 KJV)
Come on somebody, your light is shining so bright that it is causing disruption in the hearts of the wicked and they will not rest until they can find away to dim it, distract it or put it out altogether!
But, the Wisdom of God is going to be your path that shines in darkness to lead you out of the path of the wicked!
More Eye Candy?
Eye candy ain’t always what it appears to be!
Eye candy is/are visual images that are superficially attractive and entertaining, but are intellectually undemanding.
As I was meditating upon the LORD, I came across a portion of scripture regarding Abraham and Lot and I noticed that Abraham and Sarah tried to take Lot; the nephew along with them on their journey to the promised land.
As I began to meditate upon the LORD, He revealed to me that it was not until Lot and his tribe were removed from Abraham, that God revealed what He had in store for Abraham and Sarah!
“The LORD said to Abram, after Lot had left him, “Now lift up your eyes and look from the place where you are standing, northward and southward and eastward and westward; for all the land which you see I will give to you and to your descendants forever.
I will make your descendants [as numerous] as the dust of the earth, so that if a man could count the [grains of] dust of the earth, then your descendants could also be counted.
Arise, walk (make a thorough reconnaissance) around in the land, through its length and its width, for I will give it to you,” Genesis 13:14-17 AMP.
I believe that the LORD allows strife, chaos and confusion in a tribe to weed out those that are driven by what they see rather than their faith in God!
Look at Cain and Abel for instance; one of them God was pleased with (Abel) their sacrifice but the other he rejected, (Cain) because Abel believe that God would bless his offering not because it looked good or appeared to be an excellent sacrifice but because of his obedience and his faithfulness to God that caused him to walk under an open heaven.
For, the scriptures said that Lot looked and saw that the valley of the Jordan was well watered everywhere — this was before the LORD destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah; [it was all] like the garden of the LORD, like the land of Egypt, as you go to Zoar [at the south end of the Dead Sea] (Genesis 13:10).
We walk by faith and not sight! Lot had a lot to learn about walking with God and the first thing was that God loved Abraham and choose to bless him and his descendants, not because Abraham was entitled or what the natural eye could see, but because he walked with God and Abraham pleased God (called the friend of God. He had an intimate relationship with the Father who talked with him and gave him both wisdom and instructions) and he was always trusting in God; something Lot did not have; him and his herdsmen!
Strife, division and a spirit of covetousness and greed cause one to make poor decisions as it did Lot and his herdsmen!
No doubt they felt that Abraham was trying to take everything for them because of what the natural eyes could see but what Abraham knew in his heart was that God would provide for him no matter which land he took so what he did was he gave Lot and his men first choice in order to save face!
Leaving God to bless Abraham even the more, because he was willing to make the ultimate sacrifice and allow his nephew to pick out the land first.
Showing Lot and his men that he was indeed a man of integrity and a pure heart something they did not believe and this is why their was strife and division in the camp!
Some times we think others are out to destroy us because what we see in them is only a reflection of our own evil and dark hearts!
I thank God for the LORD revealing this portion of scripture to me, because many times like Lot, we piggyback off of others, because we feel that they will take us into our destiny and promise land.
But many times God is denying us divine access into the lives of those we continue to hold on to, because He knows that they are nothing but dead weights, as Lot and his men were to Abraham!
For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south (Psalm 75:6)
You see, God knew Abraham would never let Lot go of his nephew Lot, because he had such a tender heart, so God allowed strife and confusion to come about through the herdsmen and causing them to go into a place of destruction, whereby Abraham would be the one to deliver Lot, causing Abraham’s integrity to shine all the more!
Lot lost everything, but Abraham still went to help to deliver him from Sodom, to rescue his brother even though strife was in there hearts against him and his herdsmen! (Genesis 14)
People, maintain your integrity, because some doors God denies access to you, because He knows that is not the door He has for you.
This is why He creates or allows chaos to block whatever is not a part of your God-given destiny!
Abraham did not allow it to make him bitter, but better. He gave up what looked good, to gain access to what God had!
