Exposure
I want to briefly speak about a Pastor who recently committed suicide after being exposed as a crossdresser on Social Media…
The obsession that some “Christians” have with “exposing” people who are battling for their soul has become a true weapon of Satan.
What people don’t realize is that often this behavior causes more damage than good.
Exposure, many times is a term used to cover up the truth of slander and/ or gossip.
“does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth,“ Corinthians 13:6
In 1 Corinthians 13:6, the Apostle Paul reminds us that Love doesn’t rejoice over a downfall.
We are also told that Love covers a multitude of sin (1 Peter 4:8).
Now, this isn’t to say that we as believers should condone sin. Jesus gave us steps on what to do when we see our brethren sinning: starting with going to him/her in private (Matthew 18:15-19).
Later, John tells us we are to pray for the ones gone astray (1 John 5:16).
Nevertheless, what is happening in the evangelical church is a plague of extremism. We are either condemning or condoning and there is no conviction, which is given through the Holy Spirit, in Love.
Conviction is what brings forth change.
Deuteronomy 5:32 states; “Therefore you shall be careful to do as the LORD your God has commanded you; you shall not turn aside to the right nor to the left” (therefore, stating the importance of balance).
However, we live in a society of people ruled by emotion, impulse, and the lust of wanting to be right.
Let me remind you that Jesus condemned no one.
In fact, He clearly stated that people condemn themselves when that choose to live in darkness instead of the light (John 3:17).
The reason why the spirit of Antichrist is currently, and will continue to be so effective in the [apostate] church is due to the deep division (infiltrated by Satan) caused by pride, and a lack of love and conviction.
And let me remind you that a kingdom divided will not stand!
The next time you feel an itch to “expose” someone, I want you to check your spiritual pulse and see where your heart is.
I will leave you with this Scripture:
“You shall not go around as a slanderer among your people, and you shall not stand up against the life of your neighbor: I am the Lord. You shall not hate your brother in your heart, but you shall reason frankly with your neighbor, lest you incur sin because of him. You shall not take vengeance or bear a grudge against the sons of your own people, but you shall love your neighbor as yourself: I AM The LORD,” Leviticus 19:16-18

Ephesians 2:8-9
For it is by grace you have been saved through faith and this not from yourselves it is the gift of God not by works so that no one can boast. This is for all men and to all men. This cuts to the heart of the matter. No one not you or me was saved by are own effort. All men are saved by Gods grace. And yet almost all in the churches in America think somehow or another they did it by saying some prayer. Instead of just believing that it has already been done by God through faith and all I have to do is act as if it was true. Kinda like a child would do. The condemnation we put on others is a form of boasting.
Very good word
Great word – thank you Mena
I agree with your thoughts and your Word, dear Sister. May God have mercy on us as His people.
