Expectations May Tarry — But It Shall Come!
“Hope deferred maketh the heart sick: but when the desire cometh, it is a tree of life.” Proverbs 13:12
When our heart’s longings and desires do not come into fruition at an expected time, it’s easy for us to become dispirited, void of joy, wavering in Faith, and sink into despondency and despair, and so begin to question the authenticity of the promises of God and His Faithfulness.
But when the desire and blessing, that long awaited miracle comes, we are renewed in Hope — and the once disquieted soul, celebrates Glory to God!
I pray for someone tonight, that in the name of Jesus Christ, the One Who redeems, restores, reconciles, recovers, brings about restitution and total vindication, that whatever you have been hoping for God to establish in your life, in your family, your health, your finances, your marriage, your settlements, your advancement, your breakthrough; that tho they may seem deferred , deflected, delayed, will not cause you to backslide, to compromise your integrity, to put forth your hands to iniquity in the name of Jesus Christ.
You will not bow to any idol, neither curse God your Father, for the Accuser to substantiate his accusations in The Courts of Heaven.
I Declare that you will rejoice always and again!
I say REJOICE — for our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory.
I further Decree and Declare Isaiah 40:31 over your life: “But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.”
Though your vision, godly desires, and expectations may tarry IT SHALL COME in the name of Jesus for the expectation of the righteous SHALL NOT BE CUT OFF…

Thank you. I just read this and I needed it. I’m there right now and have been for a while. I don’t have a victim mentality but I’m so deflated. I have my own business and manage weddings and have always been a hard worker. I will NOT do gay weddings, but It’s hard when I have many great reviews I am good at what I do, but continue to struggle and live in a studio…still…in my 50s. But I continually see my competitors and other vendors who do gay weddings…men marrying men…women marrying women, they display pride flags on their postings and continue to flourish and buy homes, etc. I’m close to God, repent, and pray but have to watch this in my face over and over again. It’s a bitter pill to swallow. So yes, I’m close to giving up. If you knew me you wouldn’t believe that I would be saying that. I love life. Not so much anymore.
