Exhortation for Those in Distress

An Exhortation for Someone in Distress
Please do not look at another person who had a very prolonged struggle in the same kind of situation you are going through now, then assume that you will take the same amount of time, or suffer the same way they did in that situation.
The minute we do that, we have allowed our feelings to minister to us and not our faith, and even nullified the power of grace.
Yes, we all tend to find comfort in a person or people who have walked the same journey but that’s not the perfect way to deal with it.
You can be going through the same situation other people have gone through but don’t have to suffer the same way they did. You may be walking towards the destination called victory, but you don’t have to take the same lengthy path as other people did.
Yahweh works very differently with all of us. We also all respond to grace differently and we all have a different level of faith.
What brings you out of that thing speedily is not focusing on the negative side of someone’s struggle but focusing on the one who knows each one of us by name and on the grace He gives to each of us. It is all about our FAITH.
Now, it does not matter the situation you are facing in your marriage, business, ministry, health, family or office. There is one that is very merciful and He brings us out of all struggles in perfect timing, if we only believe in Him.
He is never too late, He is always on time!
Character Alignment
As students of the Holy Spirit, we must know what class we are in and what we are being taught in each season, or we may keep repeating but yet never learning.
One of the most common classes is character alignment which is amongst many other lessons. Since there is no one who is of perfect character, it means everyone is in a certain class at any given point.
Many of us are also in the financial management class, while others are in the relationship class, mouth usage class……etc.
A good teacher is one who is also a good student. The best teacher will remain to be the Holy Spirit and as long as we are on earth, even the ones that are considered mighty must be willing to learn.
Learn what you need to learn in every season and get out of that class. Failure to learn means failure to progress. Some of us are not where we are supposed to be because we are not good students.
Tell the Lord to give you grace to be teachable and to be a quick learner.
Don’t delay yourself!
Use Wisdom!
Discern, that some of those coming back into your life saying, “they are checking on you,” are only looking for a new avenue to bring you to the ground.
The last time they were there, they managed to bring you on your knees. Now they intend to make you lie flat on the ground with your mouth open.
Not everybody who says, “Sorry” means it.
Don’t let the enemy do the same thing to you a second or third time just because you are a ‘forgiving’ christian. You can forgive them but keep your safe distance from them.
Shalom,
