Esther on The Nuclear Case
I had the following dream on March 14th, 2016:
Dream
The dream was short but extremely vivid. I dreamt I was looking at a nuclear device and the word ‘Esther’ was written on it in red letters.
The word was in place of where you’d usually see the countdown timer to the actual explosion.
In the dream, I understood that I was on the ‘nuclear case.’ I was on the case to stop the bomb from going off.
I knew the word ‘Esther’ was the key to solving the case. I thought to myself that I’d note down that word as the ‘key’ to the case, so I could look back on it later and research/investigate to discover its significance.
Dream Comment
The dream is obviously a serious one, because it reveals that a nuclear bomb could be fired or detonated somewhere in the world in the coming years.
But I believe it is also a hopeful and encouraging dream. When it appeared as though Israel was doomed, Esther interceded to the king and so God brought salvation when it looked like it was ‘all over.’
In the world today it prophetically looks like it’s all ‘over.’ It appears like very little can be done about the grave state of things.
But we know that while our God is a God of justice and judgment (1 Peter 4:17), He is also a God of great mercy and hope; and my favourite saying is, “Where there’s time, there’s hope!”
There’s hope because God still allows and calls us to intercede today (Ezkiel 22:30), and hope because our Saviour would far rather save than bring great judgment.
After all, the Bible says that the Son of Man did not come to destroy men’s lives, but to save them! (Luke 9:56).
Esther also called God’s people to fast (Esther 4:16), so God may be calling His people to a fast of repentance for this season. And to turn from any lifestyle that is ungodly and sinful.
So if you feel led, please pray that God would show great Mercy and prevent any nuclear event or detonation in the future.
Please also pray that the nations would turn from their ways, acknowledge Him, and seek His Grace while it can be found!
And let’s all make sure we His People are also living uprightly in His Grace in this crucial season.
God surrounds those who love and acknowledge Him in all their ways, including those who trust in His Righteousness alone as their salvation and acceptance before Him.
In Him there is nothing to fear!
God bless!
” ‘Furthermore, let both man and beast be covered with sackcloth, and have everyone call out earnestly to God. Let each one turn from his evil ways and from the violence in his hands. Who knows? God may turn and relent; He may turn from His fierce anger, so that we will not perish.”
When God saw their actions — that they had turned from their evil ways — He relented from the disaster He had threatened to bring upon them,” Jonah 3:8-10.
“If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land,” 2 Chronicles 7:14.
“God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging,” Psalm 46:1-3.
“Many are the woes of the wicked, but the LORD’s unfailing love surrounds the one who trusts in him,” Psalm 32:10.
“The angel of the LORD encamps all around those who fear Him, and delivers them,” Psalm 34:7.
