Entering Into the Rest of God
As I was meditating upon God’s word, He began speaking to me regarding rest!
Webster dictionary said that rest is defined as the ceased work or movement in order to relax, rewind, breathing space, refresh oneself, or recover strength.
“For, I hearthe LORD sayin, ‘Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!’” Psalms 46:10.
People of God, the LORD is moving in the heart of the earth and in the midst of the March winds I feel such a calmness and a stillness as God completes his work in the heart of the earth!
Yes, I don’t like to talk about the adversary: Satan, but he too is doing everything he can to stop the finished work of God from taking place!
But, I hear God saying, “Have you not known? Have you not heard? The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth.
He does not faint or grow weary; his understanding is unsearchable. He gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might he increases strength.
Even youths shall faint and be weary, and young men shall fall exhausted; BUT THEY WHO WAIT FOR THE LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint, (Isaiah 40: 28-31).
I AM giving Him all the glory today, for His goodness and all His benefits!
He is so faithful! He is not like man, who gets tired, weak and worn with all of our flaws and our weaknesses, but will be there even when the winds are blowing!
The word “Shabbat” derives from the Hebrew verb shavat (Hebrew: שָׁבַת). Although frequently translated as “rest” (noun or verb), another accurate translation of these words is “ceasing [from work]”, as resting is not necessarily denoted.
Strong’s NT 2663: κατάπαυσις, actively, a putting to rest: τῶν πνευμάτων, a calming of the winds. Heaven is my throne, and earth is my footstool: what house will ye build me? saith the LORD: or what is the place of my rest? (Acts 7:49)
It is a time of rest and celebration as God completes His finished work upon the heart of the earth!
For much has been declared and prophesied to God’s People, but I believe that God is saying it is time to war over what has been spoken and to wait upon God to perform that which He has spoken in this season.
Just as God did when he created the heavens and the earth and spoke them into existence!
You see it was the spoken word (that which was declared and decreed) that brought about change in the atmosphere!
God blessed the seventh day and declared it holy, because it was the day when He rested from all His work of creation (Genesis 2:3).
Jesus went on to say, “Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.” (Matthew 11:28-30).
Rest is such a great part of the Kingdom of God, because it allows us to rewind, rethink, breathe and to recover before going on to whatever it is God is about do in our lives!
Jesus understood rest, even in the time of the storm. You see, there arose a great tempest in the sea, insomuch that the ship was covered with the waves: but he was asleep. (In the midst of the troubled storm)
And his disciples came to him, and awoke him, saying, LORD, save us: we perish. And he saith unto them, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith? Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm.
But the men marveled, saying, What manner of man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey him! (Matthew 8:24-27)
I believe that in this season storms are being rebuked in our lives and we are going to experience a calm: a rest in this season!
The winds are shifting and God himself is going to bring peace in the midst of the storms!
He is saying fear not! For, it is Me and I AM in the storm with you and nothing shall by any means hurt you!
Somebody ought to give Him a Shabbat tonight!
Again, He limiteth a certain day, saying in David, today, after so long a time; as it is said, Today if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts.
For if Jesus had given them rest, then would he not afterward have spoken of another day. There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God.
For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, (God wants us to let go and let Him work in the storm. He does not need our help! He just need us to stay in the boat and rest because He has the helm!) as God did from his.
Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief. (Fear)
For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do, (Hebrews 4:7-13 KJV).
Some of you stay up all night worrying about what other folks are planning and plotting to do to you but God is say, “Enter into My Rest!”
Suspicions are not discernment but fear! Many of you claim to have the gift of discerning of spirits but when this gift is activated you don’t have to guess!
For, those who are mature in God are full of God’s word!
As I said earlier, the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.
Trust God! He’s got this!

As a Missionary, God moved her into the Office of a Prophet, revealing to her the qualities of a True prophet, humility, humiliation, loving others, interceding in prayer, as she keeps her own life clean to accurately hear from God. Since hearing the audible voice of God calling her to ministry, she’s been called to intercede and pray for others in ministry as God speaks, instructs, directs and gives prophetic words for her to give to others. God promised He would bring her to sit and to learn before great men, all of which He did!
