Enjoying, Loving, Passionate, what’s the difference?
“He that received seed into the good ground is he who hears the word, and understands it; and then bears fruit, and brings forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty times as much” Matthew 13:23.
This truth is very important for leaders working in My kingdom! Every outreach of a church body, needs to work within this basic principle, to be the most effective. Many are called but few are chosen to carry out the calling of My Father, because three quarters of the ground is bad ground, and only one quarter is good Matthew 13:18-23.
The good ground has been tilled and contains sufficient nutrients to bring forth fruit. However the good ground has different grades of soil that will limit the amount of fruit it can bring forth. It’s all good fruit, but the amounts differ.
Please note that the word “ministry” is not referring to speaking from a platform, that anyone can do! Saved or unsaved, called or not! Ministry is laying down your life for another. Of those who are chosen some enjoy their ministry, some enjoy and love their ministry, while there are those that enjoy, love and are passionate about their ministry. The passionate bring forth a hundred fold. Those that enjoy their ministry, minister on a limited basis depending on personal interests, yet the seed will produce at least thirty times as much as what was sown.
Those who love ministry will lay aside personal interests, but will be limited by the time they can commit, because of family obligations 1 Corinthians 7:32-34. Those who are passionate about their ministry, will die, if they are prohibited from doing it. These should always form the core group if any outreach. They can be counted on, rain, sleet, snow, hot summer days, and holidays. They are so consumed by My love and My passion that they produce 100 times the seed sown. “Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends” John 15:13.
Love must be the basis for all ministry, whether it produces 30, 60, or 100 fold. However, the persecution and pressure of the last days will demand a greater price be paid in order to keep bearing fruit, bringing everyone to the passionate state. “Because the time is short: they that have wives must be as though they had none; And they that weep over personal loss, as though they wept not; and they that rejoice over yesterday’s victories, as though they rejoiced not; and they that buy, as though they possessed not, having all things common;” 1 Corinthians 7:29-30. During this time, all attention must be given to listening and obeying the voice of My Spirit in order to survive and endure to the end. And all those that endure to the end will be saved!
It’s going to get very rough in America, because “many will be offended, and will betray one another, to save their own necks, and they will hate one another. And many false prophets will flood the media, and will deceive many. And because iniquity is abounding, the love of many will wax cold. But those that endure unto the end, without betraying Me, will be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world, by the passionate ones, for a witness unto all nations; and that’s when the end comes” Matthew 24:10-14 KJV.
