This has been in my spirit for a while now and I literally feel so much fire and passion when I meditate on this.

Two reasons I believe this happens, are because I believe it is on the heart of God and two, because it is fundamental to our emotional and spiritual development in The Kingdom of God.

Being processed is the best thing we can ever do for ourselves as believers, because it rids us of any and every thing that is not of God.

It literally kills the flesh and it removes any gunk we may have on the inside. The more processed we are, the more aligned and sensitive we are to the His Will and The Spirit of God.

In my past, I have noticed this and I also have felt like I have been a victim of this, so for this reason I can speak about this, because I have been graced to do so.

There are so many broken people in this world who have been so badly wounded that they eventually begin to think that in order to receive love or be loved, they have to work or earn it, rather than just being and receiving it.

By the way, the love I am referring to here, is the agape love, the love of Almighty God. I am not talking about the “love” where today if you do right by me, I “love” you and tomorrow if you do not do right by me, I hate you.

That is called being unstable and the bible says “a double minded man is unstable in all his ways” (James 1:8).

The love I am talking about is the one that says, I love you already. I love you regardless.

Baby, this love is so powerful, you do not have to try to earn it but just receive it. I am talking about the love of God that says, you do not have to change who you are in order to get it!

And yes, do not get me wrong, we should reciprocate, but we also need to establish boundaries with people when establishing relationships in general, because the truth of the matter is, some people are wicked, and sometimes they will try to run you over or take advantage of you or your love.

Let me liberate someone and put a bullet through Satan’s lies by telling you, that you do not have to try to earn love (the agape love that is).

That is rather obligation and slavery. As men and women of God, it is so important that we get healed and whole because being healed and whole gives us the privilege to love freely.

When should be and strive to be at the place where we are healed and whole and can love and not fall apart even when we are not receiving what we are giving.

Trust me, when you love out of obligation rather than freely, you will become hardened in heart and drained because obligation means you have to work for or earn it.

Not only does expectation set us up for disappointment but it also magnifies our motive or reason for doing what we do. We should daily spend time in the presence of God and also have other men and women of God in our lives who can pour into us when feel empty.

You see, the truth is, not everybody is out to hurt you, and not everybody wants something from you.

People can be genuine towards you without having ulterior motives. Not because you are used to being abused and taken advantage of means everyone who you cross path with wants to hurt or take advantage of you.

May we be so whole and free that we can give of ourselves but also know when and where to establish boundaries in order to guard our hearts and those of our loved ones.
