Prophetic Word of Encouragement and Instruction for 2017

The year of the warrior. The year of multiplication and manifestation.

This year you must balance yourself to properly walk in power and authority. Your feet must be established and every area of your life must be balanced or you will not be prepared for what is to come in 2017.

The year 2016 was a year of alignment and preparation for 2017. Proper preparation prepared you for launching into greater places and greater doors in 2017.

If you refused to learn and grow in 2016, 2017 will be a time of catching up until you are prepared for the next phase of your life. You are in the position that you are in good or bad because of decisions you made whether right or wrong.

You are the co-pilot of your plane and God is the pilot. Your decisions made your plane soar at the correct height, it made your plane run on automatic pilot, it made you turn your plane around and land so you have to now start over, or it made you crash your plane and now you are wondering what the next step has to be.

The Bible says in Psalm 37:23-24 (NLT): “The LORD directs the steps of the Godly. He delights in every detail of their lives. Though they stumble, they will never fall, for the LORD holds them by the hand.”

He directs the steps of His people. Allow Him to fly the plane as you sit back and obey Him. He has the blueprints for your destiny so He knows every flight and the direction that you must go in.

It’s time for God’s people to use discernment as they walk with Him and know when it’s Him guiding their path. You may not always understand His ways, but we must always obey what He commands and where He leads.

As we enter into the year, God spoke to me to concerning the importance of wisdom this year and in the years to come. He led me to Proverbs 2, as He speaks to us from His Word to lead and guide us.

“My child, listen to what I say, and treasure my commands. Tune your ears to wisdom, and concentrate on understanding. Cry out for insight, and ask for understanding. Search for them as you would for silver; seek them like hidden treasures. Then you will understand what it means to fear the LORD and you will gain knowledge of God. For the LORD grants wisdom! From His mouth come knowledge and understanding. He grants a treasure of common sense to the honest. He is a shield to those who walk with integrity. He guards the paths of the just and protects those who are faithful to Him. Then you will understand what is right, just, and fair, and you will find the right way to go. For wisdom will enter your heart, and knowledge will fill you with joy. Wise choices will watch over you. Understanding will keep you safe. Wisdom will save you from evil people, from those whose words are twisted. These men turn from the right way to walk down dark paths.
They take pleasure in doing wrong, and they enjoy the twisted ways of evil.
Their actions are crooked, and their ways are wrong.
Wisdom will save you from the immoral woman, from the seductive words of the promiscuous woman. She has abandoned her husband and ignores the covenant she made before God. Entering her house leads to death; It is the road to the grave. The man who visits her is doomed. He will never reach the paths of life. So follow the steps of the good, and stay on the paths of the righteous. For only the Godly will live in the land, and those with integrity will remain in it. But the wicked will be removed from the land, and the treacherous will be uprooted,” Proverbs 2 (NLT).

God is speaking to His people, but our problem is that we don’t obey. He that has an ear let Him hear what the Spirit of the LORD has to say to the Church. He is speaking to us, but we are turning a deaf ear, going down our own paths, going in our own strength, only coming to Him when we have exhausted all of our avenues.

“I see you struggle,” saith the LORD, “and I stretch My hand towards you waiting for you to humble yourself and come to Me. You honor Me with your lips, but your heart is far from Me.

Come before Me and I will show you My path that is brighter than yours. I will lift you higher than you could ever dream.

In My Glory, no demonic force can stand against you or block you. If you search for Me you will find me if you search for Me with your whole heart.

Follow My voice in My Word and don’t listen to the voice of any stranger and you will blossom before Me as I use you to change the earth I have placed you in,” saith the LORD…..

Wisdom and discernment is vital and necessary in this hour. There are many things that will happen but in all that God allows it will be strategic for what is to come. You cannot go in the direction that you “feel” because your emotions will deceive you.

You have to rely on the “gps” inside of you and that is the Spirit of God. His Spirit will guide you as you seek Him in fervent prayer and fasting.

As God spoke to me for this year He spoke in a different way as He emphasized the importance of living a disciplined life as we walk with Him. Lack of discipline and balance will make you miss vital instructions and directions that will keep you on the correct path.

God said we must become “one” with prayer. Prayer must be the air in your lungs that releases oxygen to sustain life in our bodies. It must be inhaled and exhaled. Your “prayer life” is what will sustain you in this hour as it turns the plans that the enemy has for your life, family, finances, body and ministries.

Like the oxygen released in your body, it will travel where it needs to and bring victory back to your life. God said wisdom will function as your nervous system. The nervous system controls the activities of the body by sending signals and messages from your brain to the other parts of your body.

As situations come into your life, “wisdom” will send signals to you and let you know what you need to do in each individual situation. Whether the situation is a need, an emergency or a problem, wisdom will send you a signal and give you direction and assistance in your walk with God.

The Bible says in James 1:5, if any man lacks wisdom let Him ask of God who gives wisdom out liberally. Let wisdom guide you as you walk in love being slow to speak, quick to hear and slow to wrath.

God also spoke that obedience in the body will be like our skeletal system, without it you will collapse. Disobedience has been the reason many of God’s people don’t walk in abundance, victory and dominion in the earth.

Think of the times God spoke and you didn’t listen. It’s not that you God wasn’t trying to bless you or God didn’t give you any opportunities in life, you just didn’t obey Him when He told you to leap, you didn’t move forward as He directed you, you allowed the enemy to rob you as He whispered in your ear giving you false evidence that your “mind” had a better direction.

We allow our past and the things we haven’t been healed from to make decisions for us leaning on our “own” understanding and not the word of God or the ways of God. God wants to do so much for us in 2017. Don’t allow the enemy to rob you of your next level or the opportunities that God will give to us to make our lives and ministries better and greater in 2017.

Don’t collapse because of disobedience walk in your God given authority and dominion in the earth and let God be your guide. Prayer, wisdom and obedience along with your faith in God will be the tools that will make your enemies your footstool and your pathways clear in God.

There is always passages of scripture in the word that God will speak from prophetically to guide His people from one year to the next. He has given me Judges 6 – 7 as He speaks to us in 2017.

As we enter in to the story we see that the children of Israel have disobeyed God and now the country has been placed in the hands of the Midianites, people that Israel fought and had victory over in previous seasons but allowed just a few Midianites to escape were now experiencing the “few” multiplied into over 130,000 people.

People of God, your disobedience to God will cost you this year. God’s people were suffering because they refused to listen to God. We also see that when you don’t totally destroy harmful things in your life the harmful things will grow back and come back to destroy you.

We must take responsibility for our actions and discipline ourselves in finishing the course the things that God has spoken for us to do. The same God that has told us what to do is the same God that will give us the grace to finish strong. We must listen and then obey to walk in total victory.

The children of Israel began to cry out to God because of their oppression and God sent a prophet to speak to them and let them know that He brought them out of Egypt and gave them a land that belonged to their enemy, but because they refused to listen to God their enemy was now able to defeat them and steal everything they harvested causing them to be poor and impoverished.

God is speaking to us about this “cancer” called disobedience. Prevention is better than cure. God is not happy with you going through the repercussions of not listening to Him.

He has a path of victory but because He gives us “free will” we can choose to obey or disobey. God created us and has given all of us a path to walk on. Choose to obey so you can prosper in His ways. If you refuse and rebel the enemy is waiting to enslave those that choose to do evil when they know the path that is right.

When we cry out to God and repent He will raise up a deliverer to bring His people out of bondage. Some of you are going to be raised up by God because you are the answer to someone’s prayer. God is responding to the cries of His people by calling you to be a deliverer.

Please understand the honor you have been given and remain humble at God’s use of you. Stay humble and obedient and God will use you in great and awesome ways to help His people.

In judges 6:12-13 the angel of the LORD appears to Gideon saying the LORD is with you mighty man of valor and Gideon replies, “If God is with me, why is all of these things happening to me and where are the miracles that our ancestors spoke of? God has abandoned us and placed us in the hands of the Midianites.”

Several things stand out here. The first thing is when God spoke to Gideon, he didn’t believe he was who God said he was. The second thing is, he began to question what God was saying, because of what he was going through.

Oppression leaves you with a negative mindset and a lot of times you are the reason you are in bondage. The children of Israel suffered because of the wrong choices that they made, and now God was raising up what has remained pure in the midst of the famine.

God began to minister to Gideon and as God spoke, Gideon began to feel strength and power from God. When God raises up a deliverer, He doesn’t call the qualified but He qualifies the called.

You may not know everything and you may not understand why God chose you, but understand that the call of God on your life makes it necessary for deliverance to come to you as He qualifies you in your call.

The potter’s wheel is necessary, the misunderstanding you go through is necessary, the rejection by people is necessary, the pain you experience is necessary, the humbling and the humiliation is necessary, the obedience you have to learn is necessary, your gethsemane place that presses you is necessary, the temptation and the testing is necessary as He qualifies you and at each level you will experience necessary situations as you go to higher heights in Him.

Don’t despise the humble beginnings. God is the lifter of our head.

When Gideon responded to the call, the first thing He did was pull down all of the strongholds of the enemy in His house, to restore God back to His rightful place. People around Him got angry, but His father spoke up for Him.

Whenever you take a stand for God and do what is right, you may experience some warfare, but God will speak up for you and bring you out of every situation as you take a stand for Him.

Gideon began to gather soldiers together to fight with Him to bring deliverance to His people. After gathering the soldiers to fight, he realized that he had 32,000 people, but not even close to the over 135,000 soldiers the Midianites had in their army.

People of God, numbers don’t mean you are going to win a battle. You will watch the hand of God move miraculously this year with small numbers and what is considered as nothing.

The reason God rarely moves with large numbers is because we boast and rely on what we have and see and we don’t depend on Him and His abundance. When God saw Gideon’s army He told him the people with you “Are too many!” This has been speaking volumes to us for years.

Many of us don’t seem to understand that what is attempting to walk with us, is “too many,” so many people have been removed by God, because they are not really for us.

God spoke to Gideon and said speak to the army and say, “Whoever is afraid to fight go home.” 22,000 soldiers left. What we need to understand is, with the battles and warfare we go through in life, some people will be a hindrance more than a help.

We think we need a lot of people around us to help us, but the truth is, we need whom God has assigned to our life to assist us.

Gideon had 10,000 soldiers left but again God said that the people with you “are too many.” God spoke to Gideon and said for him to bring the army down to the water and He would “test” them there. God has to test who will walk with whom “He is calling” to bring deliverance to His people.

You can’t go with the wrong people into battle. If your circle is too “big,” your ministry team is too “big,” your armorbearer team is too “big” you will lose the battle. Allow God to test them by the “water” and see if they are worthy to walk with you.

Water has a 2-fold meaning spiritual and natural. Water represents the Spirit of God. God is going to show you who to release and who you need to keep around.

Some of you already know whom to release, but because of the close tie you have with the person you refuse to let them go. Obedience is the key to victory this year. Allow God to “test” your “soldiers.” Some of them may be afraid to fight but won’t tell you, some of them are not strong enough to fight, but still want to be around you.

Allow God to make your circle smaller so you can go higher. Gideon brought the soldiers to the water like God told Him to. The way they drank water would be the way God would show Gideon how many would remain in his army.

Some of the men took all of their armor off and drank water and some went down on one knee still holding their shield and drank water lapping like a dog. He separated the soldiers again and 9,700 had to go back home leaving Gideon with “300” men.

The odds were against them, but as the Word of God says, if God be for us who can be against us? The men who remained were the ones who kept their armor on and stayed alert as they drank water, ready for “any” attack of the enemy as they refreshed themselves.

God has chosen the foolish things to confound the wise. He doesn’t choose like man chooses. He sees into the heart, sees the motives of the people around you, the heart of the people around you and He looks at your future as well as the future of those around you just in case they are walking with you but not prepared for battle.

After God tested Gideon’s army, he was left with 300 men prepared for battle. He divided them into 3 companies and gave them a trumpet, a lamp and a pitcher. No guns, no swords, no weapons “all God.”

God confused and defeated the Midianite army of 135,000 with a unified army of 300 men who were focused and battle ready.

This year God will do greater things with smaller numbers, smaller amounts and focused “battle ready” warriors.

You will see Him touch hearts and minds as He brings His vision to pass in our lives. Isaiah 1:19 says, if you are willing and obedient, you will eat the good things of the land.

Stop looking down on yourself and allow God to mold you into a vessel that He can use for His glory. He did it with Gideon, who considered himself to be “nothing,” to prove that an “obedient” vessel will be assured victory after victory in every area of their life.

The decision is yours this year. You can “read the headlines” or you can make the “front page of the newspaper.”

God’s people were meant to be victorious because we have a victorious God fighting with us and for us. The person at the highest seat in government is not the assurance of victory keeping God first in your life and ministry is the assurance of the victory in the plan for your life.

It’s not the connections that you have but your obedience to the assignment given to you and the one who has sent you on assignment. Our God remains in control no matter what we see happening in the earth.

Apostles:

And I hear the LORD say you are called to bring “order” to the Church and not “attention” to yourself.

“Don’t worry about who is fake or who is real. Revelation 2:2 has already spoken about the “false” apostles in the earth. They have an assignment to defile and destroy that which is “pure.”

Do what I have called “you” to do without compromise and with integrity and holiness. The Church must be made aware of coming dangers, that they must be prepared for and the dangers of them not “watching and praying” as My Word comes to pass every hour of every day.

Continue to train, impart, build schools, plant Churches, establish centers for evangelism training, healing of the mind and body, walking in the power of my word, authority and obedience.

Train leaders and equip my people in discipline and in prayer. You should have a burden for the lost, a burden for My house to be in order and a burden to equip the saints and their leaders for the work of the ministry.

I have imparted in you for you to impart. Train My people, equip My people, stay in My presence for instructions and directions for the people I have assigned to you.

How will they know unless I send you and how will you go, if I the LORD have not equipped you and released you to go? You must be fully balanced in Me so that you may help balance the lives of others.

Build My people, build My house. Many of you will see as I reveal to you what you thought was holy in “My” house.

Stay at My feet so I can lead and guide you. I send you forth as lambs among many wolves that don’t believe in the “true” word of God. Be strong and vigilant in My might.

Many of you will cross denominational, cultural, religious and secular lines. Study to show yourself approved. Don’t trust your heart, trust My mind that I have given to you and don’t waiver from the instructions I have given to you.

Many have used My name to abuse your authority. Repent, for I come quickly.

Mark those who cause strife among My people. Be mindful of those that destroy and divide and separate yourselves from them so that My people can remain “pure” in Me.

By their fruit you shall truly know them. Follow My word and I will guide you as you guide My Church into a place of holiness and obedience,” saith the LORD.

Prophets:

I hear the LORD say, “You spoke what you said came from Me, but I never opened My mouth, so by your own words you will fall and be humbled before the people you have chosen to worship.

You speak, but where is your obedience to me? Your words come from your own flesh but you tell the people, it’s from My heart.

You will be snared by the words of your own mouth and you will watch yourself be humbled. You spoke My blessing, but you refused to speak of My wrath that followed disobedience and sin, making My people think that the sin done before me was covered by grace, without “true” repentance.

You have scattered My sheep to wrong paths, because of the misuse and abuse of the gifts given to you without repentance consider your ways and your desire for vain glory and selfish ambition.

Some of you have not been defiled. You have not bowed to Baal or mammon, your heart is pure before Me. Continue to walk in My Word, but remember that the word for the church is for the prophet, as well as the Church you are speaking and releasing to.

Continue to walk in integrity and holiness. Call My people back to the altar. Call My people back to righteousness. Call My people back to me.

Some of you have been persecuted while others have compromised not wanting to offend what is an enemy to the Cross of Christ. Some of you have yielded to familiar spirits, scattering My sheep, while others have left the 99 to find the 1 that was hurting and lost.

I will allow the false prophets to destroy themselves. They will fall in the traps that their pride made their mouths speak. They will prophesy and predict lies and those following them blindly will see why you cannot lean on the arm of flesh.

Many of you should have been teaching someone by now, but because of your disobedience and your refusing to die to flesh in your process, you have delayed your own arrival. You must now sit and be taught.

You should be leading and training others but you are not properly aligned, your posture wasn’t the position of prayer, so now many of you are wandering from place to place, offended by words, offended by your process, offended by your families, offended by My words to you.

The prophets who should be calling My people to repentance, now need to repent and turn from their own paths and come to My path, My ways and the steps that I have ordered for their life.

Many of you will begin to feel fresh wind, oil and refreshing for the work I have called you to. Many will come from desert places and out of caves where I hid them for a season to prepare them for their “now” and you will know that I AM God and I have prepared you for such a time as this.”

Evangelists:

“I have given you a burden for the lost,” saith the LORD. “A burden for the broken, a burden for the blind and the bruised, a Word for the brokenhearted, and compassion for the lost and weary.

You have My heart,” saith the LORD, “and in you is the bridge that reconciles My people back to Me.

Lift up your eyes and behold the fields white with harvest. There is a need for more laborers as My coming draws near. Release the passion for the lost into others as My glory is revealed and I will release strategies to win souls to the wise and the obedient.

I will show myself mighty in signs, wonders and miracles but keep the focus on My word to establish My people and keep them on the narrow path.

As souls are won to the Kingdom, place them where they will grow, mature and be discipled. You will watch My hand move across the earth as I show myself strong among my people.

Put together tent revivals and gatherings to heal, set free and deliver those oppressed by the enemy and I will draw the lost to Me.

My Word is a hammer that breaks things into pieces. You will see sickness broken in pieces, situations, burdens and yokes destroyed by the power of My anointing as My Kingdom is established more and more in the earth.

Keep your ear to My mouth and I will show you My plans and My purpose in the earth. My word is full of power and you will see it demonstrated as you preach the “cross” with conviction and without compromise.

Many supernatural things will happen as I touch the lost with my finger of love,” saith the LORD.

Pastors:

“Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds, the leaders of Israel. Give them this message from the sovereign LORD: what sorrow awaits you shepherds who feed yourselves instead of your flocks. Shouldn’t shepherds feed their sheep?” Ezekiel 34:2.

Woe….. Many of you are shepherds just by title. Even those who are apostles and prophets in “shepherd” roles have abused my sheep for your own gain. Not only have you fed and clothed yourself at the expense of the flock, but you have allowed Jezebel to abuse My people in My house as well.

You have refused to deal with this spirit running rampant in My house, standing in pulpits and destroying destines in the pulpit and the pews. They have suffered at the hands of “Jezebel priests” and you have done nothing about it, refusing to see like “Eli” and now “Ichabod” is on your doorpost.

I will not dwell in these kinds of temples where sin is flaunted in the faces of the innocent. Are you not afraid of the blood that you have spilled on my altar?

The proud and arrogant boast in your pulpits and fleece My sheep. Is this not My house?

Mammon is your God so you allow these things to happen, not protecting the sheep whom you said you would guard with your life. You refuse to preach from My word so My sheep can be fed. You have watered down My gospel for your own gain, consider your ways.

The houses you live in look like walled cities, but My house lies in ruins. You say you love Me with your lips, but your heart is not with me. Many of you have fallen and many more of you will fall because you refuse to seek Me in prayer for guidance, clarity and wisdom and pride and filthy lucre has overtaken you.

Pleasing men whom you can see and refusing to please Me whom you cannot see. Know that I see you and the damage that you do and I hear the cries of my people that I will surely answer and you will know that I AM God and I answer the cries of My beloved, My Bride.

Train and equip My people, prepare and strengthen My flock. Come before Me and repent and I will blow My breath on you and you will live righteously before me and guide my people safely, saith the LORD.

There are some who have walked before me and you will continue to see My power manifest in your lives, your ministries, and your families.

Don’t be fooled by some who will come in your midst with miracles and lying words. Continue to seek my face for directions. Be careful of who tries to pull close to you bringing distractions. Watch those who you have chosen to help guide the flock, some of your leaders do not have My Spirit, nor do they have a heart for the people.

Search for the spirit of pride in your leadership. Those who follow you close should walk in love, compassion and humility. Walk blameless before Me and I will do great things with your lives and ministries. I will begin to multiply what you think is not enough and I will flourish those that put their trust in Me, saith the LORD of hosts……

Teachers:

You have the ability that not many leaders have. The ability to equip My people and write My word on the table of their hearts.

You are the smallest finger on My right hand of power, but your assignment is just as important as every other 5-fold gift I have given to the church.

You have failed me by not realizing the potential in you, the gifts I have given you and refusing to use your ability given by Me to impact generations.

This year I will shine My light on you as you team with apostles and prophets to establish schools and equipping stations so My Word will be spread abroad the earth. As you train My people, you will lay My hand upon their hearts.

They will teach what has been taught to them, discipling as they have been discipled and My word will be spread abroad even more. Some of you will have to be shifted this year, so you can be more effective and have a greater impact in the earth on a different territory.

Teach My people to pray, teach them to study My word, teach them to memorize scriptures and write My word on the table of their hearts.

Teach My people that learning My word will make a person “rich” in Me. It will establish them in My Kingdom. Teach them to seek Me early. Teach them to be humble before Me. Teach them My Word can be trusted, because I AM what My Word says that I AM.

The passion that you have for Me, let it be taught and transferred to the people that you teach, so the love that you have, they will also have for Me.

I will walk in situations as you speak the Word out of your mouths to teach them. Yokes shall be destroyed and mountains moved, for I and My Word are one, saith the LORD

My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge, so I need them to be equipped for what is ahead.

Remember the Words I have spoken to you. Many of you have given up right at the end of the process and the beginning of your miracle. Do not be deceived by the voices that you hear.

Be strong in my strength. This year you will really see the instability of governments, continents, countries, states, cities and counties and you will see how quickly things can go from peace to war.

Many things will happen, but keep your trust in Me, My hand will guide you to greener pastures and places of peace. Don’t get discouraged or doubtful, I can do the impossible.

Keep your mind on My word and steady yourselves with the shield of faith. Every part of your armor is necessary for every season. Don’t lose focus with the things that you will see, because some of them are not real and some things in your life have not come to stay.

Don’t let your heart be troubled. Mountains are moved in the presence of prayer. Don’t be deceived in this hour by tangible riches there is much treasure in the Spirit. Seek Me first and I will add things to your life that you have asked me for and more.

Watch your words for they control your atmosphere. There is nothing that you can go through that I AM not able to bring you out of. Stay close to Me and I will guide you where light and life is.

There is still a remnant of people that I have hidden in my wings with the sound of heaven. Trust in Me and I will guide you seek Me and you will find me search for Me and you will know the plan I have for your life saith the LORD.
