Encountering God
The Feast of Trumpets, or popularly called Rosh Hashanah, starts this evening at sundown.
The Feast of Trumpets is the new year celebration for the biblical Hebrew calendar! Our world follows the solar or Gregorian calendar, so celebration of the new year is on January 1.
However, Jesus followed the Hebrew calendar that follows the moon cycle. A new moon signals a new month. The Feast of Trumpets marks the beginning of the 10 holiest days of the biblical year.
Tonight, families all over the globe will begin to settle into the first of the fall biblical holidays. Rosh Hashanah or Feast of Trumpets despite common belief, is a biblical celebration for all of us not just Jewish people.
In Israel, Jewish people throw stones into a body of water to symbolize the casting off of their sins. We can do this by casting off something we’ve been carrying, so we can pick up better things from our Father in the new year.
Rosh Hashanah’s is known for the destiny of the righteous who are believed to be sealed during the feasts.
The 10 days following are for those seeking repentance and self-examination, sleeping in tents, and communing with The Father until the Day of Atonement or Yom Kippur which is the holiest day of the year beginning October 4th at sundown.
This is the time when everyone has his or her name inscribed into one of the two books in heaven, BOOK OF LIFE or Book of Death.
Paul tells us,
“Whoever eats the bread or drinks the cup of The LORD in an unworthy manner will be guilty of sinning against the body and blood of The LORD. Each one must examine himself before he eats the bread and drinks of the cup.” 1 Corinthians 11:27-28.
Our true repentance before The LORD happens when we acknowledge the sin we committed and confess it.
Our open gates become closed in our minds to never be opened again. We have restored wall(s) and we are now fortified and ready to battle. Our castles do not look like the one in my Dream (last week’s post). They are beautifully kept!
The Feasts are an important step in our wilderness journey towards consecration. This is the time of the year when we are allowed to enter His Ark with Trumpets blowing! A TRUE encounter with God. We are told this through Solomon in 1 Kings.
“And Solomon awoke; and, behold, it was a dream. And he came to Jerusalem, and stood before the ark of the covenant of The LORD, and offered up burnt offerings, and offered peace offerings, and made a feast to all his servants.” 1 Kings 3:15.
When we join in The Father’s Celebrations, we are declaring victory over our enemy.
“Then The LORD spoke to Moses, saying, “Speak to the children of Israel, saying: ‘In the seventh month, on the first day of the month, you shall have a Sabbath-rest, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, a holy convocation. You shall do no customary work on it; and you shall offer an offering made by fire to The LORD.’ ” Leviticus 23:23-25.
Look at what Jesus said about the trumpet,
“And He will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.” Matthew 23:31.
and we are told to sound the alarm by a trumpet in Numbers:
“When you go to war in your land against the enemy who oppresses you, then you shall sound an alarm with the trumpets, and you will be remembered before The LORD your GOD, and you will be saved from your enemies. Also in the day of your gladness, in your Appointed Feasts, and at the beginning of your months, you shall blow the trumpets over your burnt offerings and over the sacrifices of your peace offerings; and they shall be a memorial for you before your GOD: I AM The LORD your GOD.” Numbers 10:9-10.
This evening, when blowing the Shofar and taking communion we are entering into His Ark, therefore, qualified for a personal encounter with The Father.
The sound of His Shofar is so beautiful! If you don’t own a shofar like myself, play this video to blow the Shofar sound as your celebrate this evening.
In His Word, The Father has always used Trumpets for the good of His People.
“With trumpets and sound of cornet make a joyful noise before The LORD, the King.” Psalm 98:6.
In my journey, I enter the Feasts with the blowing of the Shofar, taking communion, resting on His Sabbath, fasting while repenting of any sins led by the Holy Spirit to confess, plus Praise and Worship
My first feast made a huge difference in my spiritual journey!
May I encourage you today to begin your celebration tonight!
As we continue working towards fortifying our spiritual walls and gates (mouths, eyes and ears) the Feasts of Trumpets will have a huge impact!
Remember, my spiritual gates post awhile ago, the link is here. Depending where we are in our journey, we have been warned in Revelation there could be forces outside our gates waiting to devour us.
Revelation 22:15. Celebrating the Feasts is one way to fortify our spiritual walls.
“Outside are the dogs, those who practice magic arts, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters and everyone who loves and practices falsehood.”
Our enemy tries to convince us we are not worthy to enter the Ark, trying to keep us outside to destroy us.
Look what it says in Deuteronomy 3:5-6a,
“All these cities were fortified with high walls and with gates and bars, and there were also a great many unwalled villages. We completely destroyed”
Those fortified in Jesus could not be destroyed by the enemy!
As we spend time with The Father, He takes us higher and through His anointing, we close all of your spiritual shattered windows and doors to the demonic harassing us. This is the place in our journey where we can access healing for each and every wound or burden we are carrying.
We become His fortified Warriors!
Let’s talk about communion. There are 3 elements to communion, the sanctified Disciple, bread and wine. Luke 22:14-20.
We are sanctified or transformed from our sins by confessing them openly to The Father. We have no desire to go back to the way we use to live!
We take Communion because Jesus said we should do this in remembrance of Him. The conduct for Communion can be found by reading The LORD’s Supper in 1 Corinthians 11:17-34.
Communion is meant to be taken by His Disciples, only those who are following Jesus Christ . If you don’t have a relationship with Jesus, you should not be taking communion. Churches today let everyone and anyone take communion and many do not call for repentance.
If you want to learn more about receiving Christ as your Savior, click Here. for a prayer asking Him into your heart.
Communion during the feasts should be taken with Repentance, without Repentance, you are calling God’s judgment upon yourself. We should never approach Communion without it.
The bread represents His body and the wine represents His blood. Only through Jesus’ death on the cross do we have a connection with God the Father and access to His Kingdom.
Benefits of communion; mental clarity, peace, and entering into the presence of God! Hallelujah!
Remember, Communion is about remembering Jesus, so please do not make your prayer about yourself.
Encouragement
I feel led to share my personal Vision given during my journey and celebration of my first Feasts while praying in His Spirit.
“Take Thy Cup and Drink, fill your thirst! See how this transforms you!
Your repentance is left at the door of My Tabernacle. You may Enter… The Holy of Holies. This is where My Real Treasures are found, those able to access it will be fulfilled, ordained and enter My Priesthood.
Putting on My Priesthood Cap and Robe. Yes, this Robe is soaked in the Glory of thy Father.
Walk with Me. (I begin to weep)
Tears of joy as I walk.” (I am worthy, I am chosen.)
I hear, “Do not look back! The earth realm is not here in your midst. You have entered My Kingdom Realm.
Keep walking, the light it translucent, no shadows. Music is playing, a peaceful sound and open air so inviting. Looking around, everything is open and so vast.”
I hear, “You are walking on My firmament, keep walking.”
I glance back and see a long narrow path, this path is everything that has happened to me. Every emotion, every thought, every wound… all sewn up neatly and healed.
The Father says, “Many find this as they leave your world, few can surrender enough to access it during their earthly life. My Realm is limitless.
Focus on letting go — everything must go to arrive here. Your heart has been circumcised in this place. Your are renewed and overwhelmingly healed.””
I open a door. I step in and I see GOD, Yahweh. He is sitting on His Throne in His white glorious Robe surrounded by His Radiant Light.
I see saints many listening and many praying as they are knelt beneath Him. His arms are held out to embrace me and He says, “Come Me Child!”
I enter His Embrace, I am weeping now and find myself in The Kingdom of God . I have entered His Glory … I am approved!
Yahweh says, “My Glory is about to reach My Saints.”
He comes over and stands above me, and places His Right hand on my head.
“This is my child,” He says, “She will break down walls, deliver the demonic ones to the pit, heal those seeking me.”
He places a necklace around my neck with beautiful stones, brilliantly and shiny.
“You My daughter, are now ordained to walk in the Light.”
A crown is placed on my head, I look around, there are many of us here in line and each has a crown placed on their head.
We are sealed. Our names are written in the book of life. The entire Kingdom of God is Royalty. I understand I walk in Royalty.
Yahweh hands me a scepter (metal staff) and says, “Use My Scepter to take the ground for My Little Ones still wandering, not by your might, but by My Will … Shall Be Done, they shall be delivered.”
He followed with, “My People are not coming, show them the way Angela, tell them how you overcame and fortified your gates. Their walls are tumbling down! They do not have My Protection.
The times they are facing will be bloody, dark and everlasting! Come now, tell them to bask in My Glory for safety, Sing Praises to Me, become My Holy Remnant Saints.”
I see Debra she is a mother in heaven, she helps me forward to my glory gate as I am unable to stand on my own, the glory here is overwhelming yet soothing.
I turn to look as I walk through the gate and see Enoch, Paul, Peter and Elijah standing there, I want to go back, but the door opens and Jesus takes my hand returning me to earth.
As I descend with Jesus, He gives me my orders for My Call. He says, “Hurry, the wall has been broken, they are coming…. Fear not, The Kingdom of God is here.”
Beloved Saints, this amazing revelation occurred while fasting, communing and repenting during my first Feast of Tabernacles.
My 10 days Feast Celebration was powerful and life changing. I encourage you to enter His Glorious Kingdom through His Feasts.
Shalom
