The LORD asks:

“What is an emotion?

An emotion is an expression of an attitude of your heart — a spiritual thing expressed in a physical plane through your fleshly expressive parts of your body.

I said that as you think in your heart so you are — in other words how you will express yourself.

Evil emotions are a result of wrong attitudes — sinful attitudes that are the result of a lack of love toward someone or something.

To deal with the emotion correctly you need to find what you have a lack of love towards and then deal with it.

Usually it is a lack of love toward God because you are rejecting what He desires you to do and also to someone or something you disapprove of.

There is a difference between expressing disapproval of something and lashing out in anger against it. Only God has the right to be angry as He is the rule maker and all you do is enforce the laws He tells you too.

However, if there is a just cause you can be angry and the only cause is the defending of God’s Kingdom or a Citizen of it. But that still does not give you the right to judge them.

This is why self control is so important. It stops you expressing wrong attitudes and the emotions attached to them.

This is also why you never argue, reason, assume or react but ask The Holy Spirit what to do.

God is their judge and not you so you need to ask what He desires you to do about a given situation.

Remember the warnings about the tongue and then remember it is the attitudes behind the tongue that need to be control because if these are controlled then the tongue will be.”
