Elevated Humility and Confidence
God is watching us and there are times when we are over run and out of control — but what keeps us from seeking help?
Pride keeps us from asking for help, because we don’t want others to see the reality of the things of our life. We don’t want others to see how we really are!
It is pride in the negative sense, that we want covered. We want to be seen as having it all together!
The self-sins keep us in bondage and fear. Self-preservation, self-righteousness self-hatred, selfish ambition and all the self-sins were opened through fear and are motivated through pride.
False humility is putting on a facade and mask. False humility is always wanting to be seen as strength!
Such boasting, even in the hidden places of the heart, is a desperate plea for help!
Fear is the strongman and unbelief too, as pride follows shortly after.
Fear keeps us from seeking help. We boast that all is well and blessed, not realizing we are sinking deeper instead.
Once we have the revelation of the finished conquered work of Christ, and how HE views our lives now through the Son, we can stand before kings, leaders and all people!
It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me! It is no longer a limited view of protection, due to how we behave each moment, but the ultimate cover of the total body, soul and spirit.
Jesus, our sacrificial lamb, completed once and for all that finished work of the cross. It is all HIM.
Pride covers and in retaliation, we think we must be perfectly seen by others! We can’t let others see our weakness!
Each door that we close causes the defense walls of our lives to be thicker and built up. These walls get smaller from defense.
We fade into the shadows, hoping no one can see the reality of us. We don’t want people to really see us, for we think, “If they truly saw me they wouldn’t have nothing to do with me!”
So, the enemy advances through the door of fear, unbelief and doubt. We must close those doors quickly and if we are overrun, we need to seek help.
The enemy likes to steal ground through our prideful silence and isolation.
We don’t want to be seen as beneath perfection. Religious spirits too, can cause a hardness of heart. The breaker must come.
I see a gavel and hammer and the LORD has decreed a break through! He is breaking hard places in our heart by the Word.
I am not saying to open up to just anyone. God has put people in our lives and these are colleagues, and those whom you have tested over time, as these are placed there by God Almighty.
However, this is sad but true, when most people see our flaws, mistakes or limitations, these think differently about us; especially here on-line. I see the weaknesses of our flesh in the arena of life and faith.
As the great cloud of witnesses cheer us on, we must remember and learn that the stomping ground we are on, is to conquer US first and the enemy!
The enemy is frantic about stealing our ground. In conquering the enemy and ourselves, the LORD knows all and allows all of it.
Remember, God takes and uses everything that the enemy meant for evil, to turn it around for our good.
We will never learn and grow until we conquer the lessons of God.
The devil tempts and deceives, the LORD tests us in our strength!
If you feel defeated today, remember the LORD is watching over it all. Begin to ask HIM, what His lessons are in this place.
We develop strength in turmoil. Our roots show up quick when the room is spinning from fear and demonic whirlwinds.
When one of us are elevated, we are to rejoice for they are part of us! When one is elevated by God, there needs to be a healthy respect of that gift of God.
Even when there appear to be mistakes and errors, we must remember that we all learn by mistakes and errors.
If through pride, we deny issues exist, we are walking in false humility.
Pride keeps us silent, but in learning how to deal with situations and people, we must learn and not run or fade into the shadows.
Many within the body, even leaders, are so wounded. They cover up in pride, as they are ashamed and don’t want any weaknesses to be seen.
The Body is suffering and there is mess, but without the mess, we would never have a message of Christ’s goodness and mercy!
Be real and having done all to stand, stand therefore! Paul identified with the Lord through the sufferings and weakness, of his flesh.
Yes, use wisdom and be careful to seek out those whom you can trust; those who truly love you and know your life.
In closing, you are not alone.
Yes, you are feeling many things, but do not trust those feelings.
Trust the foundation of our heavenly Kingdom; the WORD of GOD! Heaven and earth shall pass away, but His Word will never pass away!
“I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me,” Galatians 2:20 KJV.
“Beat your plowshares into swords, and your pruning-hooks into spears: let the weak say, I am strong,” Joel 3:10 KJV.
