Dreams Die Hard
One thing that always die hard, are dreams!
I awoke this morning hearing a voice ringing out over a multitude of people: “I have a dream!”
“Great God Almighty, I have A Dream!” I heard this man’s voice say: his dream was intricately connected with the American dream.
Of course, the man’s voice I heard speaking was none other than Martin Luther King Jr..
That day in Washington, DC., he spoke most elegantly from his heart his most famous message the people stood silently while fully taking in his glorious words that day, while standing in the shadow of the Lincoln Monument.
I believe President Lincoln watched on; I hear Lincoln also shout out loudly; “I had a dream too, one I died for!”
I heard the words again coming from this great American: “I have A Dream,” ringing out over that beautiful walkway and steps leading to the immortal shrine of Abraham Lincoln! “I have A Dream….”
Martin Luther King Jr. died for his dream! He died and went out dreaming that the black people in America would be free.
He died and went out dreaming also that one day all people in America would be free, free to sit down together and live and work together, as brothers and sisters should work.
Can you hear the words this morning ringing out: “I have a dream!” ?
I can. I hear them in the air in this great nation, I see them it in the faces of millions who marched on January 6th this year; the streets being filled with the many people who came again marching for their dream, the dream of America being made great again!
One would be very foolish to ever even imagine that these freedom seekers, seeking to make their nation great again, will lay down and quit their path.
No they will never stop dreaming the dream, and will march again, and shout even louder, “Give us freedom and give us our freedom man.”
President Donald Trump lit a spark and that spark has caused a huge fire, and the fire is burning bright for America to be great.
America oh, America can you hear the lyrics this morning:
O beautiful for spacious skies
For amber waves of grain
For purple mountain majesties
Above the fruited plain!
America! America!
God shed his grace on thee
And crown thy good with brotherhood
From sea to shining sea!
O beautiful for pilgrim feet
Whose stern impassioned stress
A thoroughfare of freedom beat
Across the wilderness!
America! America!
God mend thine every flaw
Confirm thy soul in self-control
Thy liberty in law!
O beautiful for heroes proved
In liberating strife
Who more than self their country loved
And mercy more than life!
America! America!
May god thy gold refine
Till all success be nobleness
And every gain divine!
I want to know; can you hear them as they cry out: I have a dream?
I see their dream, yes, the wonderful nation of America, where we have seen the dream of the pilgrims pride [freedom to worship, live and believe in god, and to live in peace and happiness].
Oh, a land of the free. A home for the many who come seeking freedom.
I want you to hear this Word I hear.
I hear this morning, having awoke from a dream of freedom, I hear that dreams die hard.
Yes, it is hard to kill a dream, one that is placed down inside ones soul by The LORD God Almighty Himself.
It is exceedingly difficult to kill such a dream. It is hard to wipe it out. Millions have been led to dream about making America great… again.
I know and fully believe that this movement of believers in this dream state will never die easy, no, it will continue to live and cause the millions to press on forward to the goal of freedom and to see this nation, become a home of all men who desire freedom.
How would anyone even begin to find a way to stop such a dream?
One thing for sure that I can see this morning and fully understand is: this dream of making America great again will not die easily.
No, it will not come to naught without a huge fight, a fight for freedom of men.
Those who seek to put people into bondage in a nation under a dictator and communist ideals will find a tremendous task ahead, they will see the people who dream a dream and will die for that dream.

Thank you Ken for reminding us of Rev Martin Luther Kings Dream.
I am from the UK. A miracle has just got us out of the EU. I know that what happens in America will soon come here and we are praying earnestly but many here have been brainwashed by the media against Donald Trump, even church ministers. Please pray for us too. Abortion is rarely mentioned but I know it is a key thing on God’s heart. May His Holy Spirit fall on the UK and open our eyes!
