Dream — Won’t You Come Back Home?
The LORD is having me share some about where I grew up as a child first.
I grew up in the country, about 4—5 miles from a small town in rural America, that had the schools I and my siblings attended.
My parents were farmers, having livestock (cattle, pigs, and chickens) and grain crops as their incomes. We had lots of pasture land, so I had horses that I rode all year around, but mostly spring through fall.
The town had a population of about 600, when I was growing up, but half of the town’s population or 300, were in the retirement homes.
One of the retirement homes was a nursing home, for those who needed more skilled services and the other across the street was more like a boarding house where some of the residents had retired to, so they could have their own bedroom and bathroom, but went to a dining room for meals.
There was also a large living room, that could be rented for special occasions or club meetings were also held there. There were also a couple of smaller sitting rooms available for smaller family visits.
The community itself was rural, but the people supported each other WHOLEHEARTEDLY, by gathering together to help each other in times of need. This happened for my family in the spring of 1964.
My 8 year old sister suddenly became sick, so she was taken to the hospital about 30 minutes from home, for a couple of weeks.
The doctors were unable to diagnose the disease my sister had in the hospital she was in, so she was transferred to a special “children’s hospital” which was about 90 minutes away from home, for specialists to see if they could figure out what had caused the sudden complications of her sickness before it was too late.
However they didn’t figure anything out until about a week prior to her death when they diagnosed her with nephritis or kidney disease. But because she was a child they didn’t have a lot of research available for treatment and were unable to help her.
My dad had been so involved driving back and forth from home to see my sister, and my mom who stayed with her in the hospital, that he didn’t get a lot of farming done that spring.
Dad had all the seeds he needed, he just hadn’t had time to plant everything. For a farmer your crops and livestock are your livelihood or your income for the next year and we had a family of 5 to feed.
Approximately 20 families who were relatives, friends, and neighbors gathered at our farm for two days to plow, disc, harrow, and plant our farm of about 825 acres, which included both what was owned and rented, with corn, oats, soybeans, sorghum, clover, and alfalfa for the coming season, according to dad’s specifications.
Along with the farmers came their wives and children who brought lots of food to feed this hardworking, hungry group. Each farmer brought his own tractor and other equipment and their wives and children came in the pickup or car with everything else.
Stopping for lunch in the fields at 9 am and 3 pm, when their wives brought out their sandwiches, cookies, and whatever else they’d brought for them, they also stopped and drove their tractors into the farmyard for dinner at noon.
Tables, chairs, and planks lay across sawhorses and were spread out on the lawn and the front porch, so that everyone could sit down to eat.
I was raised Lutheran, so we sang the doxology and then everyone got their food and ate. By 1 pm, all the men and older boys were back out in the fields.
They quit about 5—6 pm so they could go back home to attend to their own farm chores, leaving their equipment in the farmyard.
Everyone came back the next morning bright and early to finish what they had started the day before. They all had another long day and then went back home to their own farms.
My dad cried, he was so grateful for the help and compassion that had been shown to us. It was only the second time I ever saw him cry. The first was when my sister passed away.
Another time this happened was when the town decided to build a heated swimming pool, so they no longer had to drive 30+ minutes in any direction to take their children to swimming lessons or for the day to enjoy cooling off in the pool.
This would be the first heated pool in about a 100 mile radius, so the community was excited to participate. Many people donated cash, but many others donated time and labor or equipment and supplies.
I remember my dad donated sod for around the pool. He mowed one of the pastures really close and then someone came out with a sod cutter to cut the sod into strips.
Others came out to help roll it, load it on the long-bed truck and took it to town, where others unloaded it and laid it out to grow on the lawn of the pool in the town park.
I believe this is a picture of a community gathering together as one, love, empathy and a willingness to help others in need, which is something The LORD is trying to teach us.
It’s not about us, it’s about doing what He wants us to do, in treating others as He has taught us and as we, ourselves, would want others to treat us.
Dream
I’m in a red pickup with a man and we’re driving towards the town I used to live near when I was growing up. As we get closer to town, the windows are rolled down and our elbows are sticking out the windows.
Then I hear Him begin singing this song:
Won’t you come back home?
Won’t you come back home?
Won’t you come back home?
I need you now.
Won’t you come back home?
Won’t you come back home?
This land needs you now.
Won’t you come back home?
Won’t you come back home?
I love you so much more.
Won’t you come back home?
Won’t you come back home?
You won’t find Me in the things of man.
Won’t you come back home?
Won’t you come back home?
I am your destiny.
As I heard this song continue, we drove through main street and then up and down the streets of the small town slowly.
It sounded like His voice was over a loud speaker, it was so loud and there was no denying everyone was meant to hear it. It continued….
Won’t you come back home?
Won’t you come back home?
I am the One who loves you most.
Your hopes, your dreams
Were sent from Me
Only I can help you now.
I am the One
Who loves you most.
You were created by Me.
Won’t you come back home?
Won’t you come back home?
You are Mine, forevermore.
Give up the things destroying you,
There’s no place for them in your life.
Won’t you come back home?
Won’t you come back home?
Make time for Me in your life.
Won’t you come back home?
Won’t you come back home?
Time is short. I’m coming soon.
Don’t wait, be ready NOW!
Come back home, NOW!
Over and over I kept hearing this song, until I awoke.
Notes:
Yes, the song has a tune that I have sung into my recorder, but too long to send out.
Symbolism / Interpretation:
Priscilla Van Sutphin contributed the following:
- My dad in this represents God the Father, who provides for His children.
- 300 (half of the population of the town) represents Gideon’s 300 who were specially selected by The LORD to battle with Gideon
- 600 (double 300) represents double grace or GREAT GRACE
In the dream, The LORD is driving the pickup, just as He “drives or controls” everything, as I sit beside him.
I believe this dream represents The LORD calling to ALL HIS PEOPLE, not just the prodigals who have lost their way, but HE’S CALLING ALL HIS PEOPLE BACK TO HIM, even those too busy to make time for HIM!
Tracy Cooke just said today, June 17, 2020, (On Sid Roth Prophetic video) that The LORD is separating the sheep from the goats, NOW! GOATS need to try to transform to sheep before it’s too late!
I also believe the 300 (Gideon’s Army) or the people in the nursing and retirement homes represent the “BABY BOOMERS” (born 1944 to 1964, currently 56 to 76 years young), who as Jeremiah Johnson said, aren’t retired anymore, as GOD HAS ‘REFIRED” THEM!
They are the generation that has not yet been used by God as He has used other generations, but they have been held back for this hour, by The LORD.
This is why the enemy is trying so hard to get rid of them (think COVID-19 and how they were being targeted!).
The enemy doesn’t want them around to finish their destiny for The LORD. They have a special mission for The LORD and for this time and season of their lives!
HALLELUJAH!!
God Bless You!

Maria, LOVED what you posted
Thank you so much for sharing!!! God Bless you! Bev
Hi again Beverly, I guess the answer is to me because I am the only ‘maria’ here(?)
It is a mighty work of the Lord that He is revealing.
“Who is left among you that saw this house in her first glory? Hagg.2:3
“And the LORD stirred up…. the spirit of all the remnant of the people Hagg.1:14
“The remnant shall return Isa. 10:21
“The glory of (this coming) latter house shall be greater than of the former, saith the LORD of hosts, and in this place will I give peace saith the LORD of hosts. Haggai 2:9
Haggai
Chaggay
chagag; a festival; properly, to move in a circle
This why we ‘know and recognize His voice’ when we hear Him and the reason we don’t follow a stranger.
“These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever He goeth (from the beginning to the end). These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits (of the creation in the beginning) unto God and to the Lamb Rev.14:4
I’ve had these revelations during some years but it cannot easily be shared unless something will fit (like your dream which I think is about this and the red car represent the blood of Jesus/the Father which will bring you home) and I know we are getting closer and closer to the ‘starting point’ again.
He gave me another wonderful song the other day which I’ve never heard before even if it is old, and I could not stop listen to it without crying which allways means that He has a message in it.
“A garland gay we bring you here
And at Your door we stand
It is a sprout well budded out
The work of our Lord’s hand
(The mummer’s dance’ Loreena McKennit)

So beautiful. Thank you.
Thank you! God Bless you!!!
I loved the story of community pitches in to help. All of resonated in my Spirit but that story of your community helping your Family really touched me. Oh yea..I’m one of those baby boomers along with all my Sisters and Brothers. I look forward to see what God has for us to do to further His Kingdom.
Yes, we are in an exciting time to live! I’m very excited about what God is doing as He brings HIS TRUTH, RIGHTEOUSNESS, JUSTICE AND HOLINESS, WITH HIS GLORY TO THE EARTH. The days ahead will definitely be SUPERNATURAL IN MANY WAYS!
God Bless you! Bev
This has touched my heart deeply. I started to cry as I began to read your memories. Is is similar to my own. My heart breaks for all the innocent lives that have perished lately because of this attack(covid19) of Satan. I try to enlighten people about our Enemy and his tactics and am told I am spouting a conspiracy theory. We as His last day saints are oppressed by the darkness and MUST stay in His presence to stay alive….covered by the Blood, and wearing our armor. ONWARD CHRISTIAN SOLDIERS.
It’s not conspiracy when it is really happening before our eyes. But there are those who choose to not look and others who are blinded by the enemy spiritually, to not see it. That’s where prayer comes in and the love of God. Some people just have to learn lessons the hard way, as they have a hard heart, or hard head among their spirits and refuse to listen. God has to deal with them through their own or a loved one’s hardship. Sad, but true, until they wake up. Let God lead you.
God talked to me about the prophets and that they always had to deal with politics & what was going on around them. So you cant not know about it, because knowing helps you target your prayers more wisely. Let God lead you as to when and when not to speak. Do not yield to the pc (politically correct) climate. God is with us to lead us and help us. We just need to ask.
IN AUSTRALIA, BOOMER IS A SLANG WORD FOR “KANGAROO.” IT IS NOT OFFENSIVE. IN THE USA, BOOMER IS A ‘RISING’ SLANG WORD FOR “BABY BOOMER.” IT IS NOT OFFENSIVE.
WHERE DOES OK BOOMER COME FROM?
Boomer is an informal term for baby boomer, a person born during the baby boom (sharp increase in birthrates) after World War II. This generation generally includes anyone born in the US between 1946–65, a time of great economic prosperity.
While many baby boomers were connected to youth counterculture in the 1960–70s, they have since become blamed in the 2010s by people in younger generations for many societal woes, from the high cost of college tuition to the failure to address climate change.
This blame has contributed to the negative connotation of boomer, which—as seen in a phrase like OK boomer—dismisses a person from that generation (and older people more generally) as out of touch, close-minded, and part of the problem.
The specific slang expression OK boomer took off in early 2019, issued especially from millennials and Generation Z as a reply or reaction to older users (lumped together as baby boomers) who posted content that condescended to younger generations or provoked their sensibilities.

Ok, Peter. Ha! So glad your intellectual talents arent being wasted. LOVED what you shared. Thanks so much! God Bless you! Bev
Hi Beverly, Most of us don’t understand that we once have been with the Father and shall return to Him again. That is why ‘the first shall be the last and the last shall be the first’.
The Lord has put on my heart to pray about that His will shall be done as it was in the (there is only one beginning) when everyone heard and obeyed God which Gen.1:1 speaks about, because the hebrew origin word ‘shamayim’ (heavens) is two words put together
‘Shma’ which means hear and obey, and ‘mayim’ which means seed. In the beginning (God created those who hear and obey God and the earth).
So, the last weeks I’ve prayed that we shall come back to that point in time and actually, the clock is so to speak almost 00:00 now so we are close to it.
Everytime you hear the voice of the Lord,He only reminds you what you already once have heard. there is only one Beginning and that is ‘Genesis 1:1’.
“I write NO NEW COMMANDMENT unto you, but an old commandment which ye had from the beginning 1John 2:7
“Let that therefore abide in you, which ye have heard from the beginning. If that which ye have heard from the beginning shall remain in you, ye also shall continue in the Son, and in the Father (until you come back again). 1John 2:24
“The LORD possessed me in the beginning of his way, before his works of old.Prov.8:22(-31)
“in the fourth generation (fourth and last quarter on God’s Clock) they shall come hither again Gen.15:16
I Hope this will bless you as well as others who read this. If it is hard to understand then pray about it. Knowledge will increase the last days. You can only ‘come back’ to a place where you already have been.
Greetings and Blessings from Sweden.

“That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us 1John 1:1-3
