DREAM

SCENE 1 – The weather is sunny and clear. There is a small boy about 4 years old running across a large grass covered yard or pasture.

The grass has been cut and it’s like he’s running towards someone he knows and loves. He has a lot of determination in the way he is moving, and a single-mindedness about him. He is so intent on what he is doing. But I can’t see who he is running towards.

I can hear someone calling, “Michael, Michael come back! Where are you going? Michael, come back.” Then I see a man starting to run after the boy, but the boy has a huge lead on him.

SCENE 2 – There is a man walking into the kitchen with several children. He is carrying one in his arms. It appears from his clothing that he’s been to church, and the children have Sunday school papers in their hands.

He puts down the child he is carrying and says to his wife at the sink, “The church has just been reorganized. They held a meeting during church and presented a bunch of rules and regulations, that seem a lot like what we’ve had in the past, but they’ve attached a new name to them. We’ve lost our membership, along with 11 other families. They said, we don’t meet up to their new criteria.”

His wife turns around from the sink, her mouth is open and she appears to be shocked. She says, “What did you say? What do you mean we lost our membership? We are part of the leadership. We are part of the team. How could they do that?”

He says, “I don’t know. They said they had a meeting and set up the new rules. They announced the rules at church and then announced names of families, who no longer meet their criteria. They said these families have lost their membership and are banned from the church. We aren’t the only ones. There are 12 families in all.”

INTERPRETATION

SCENE 1 – I believe the little boy is running towards His Heavenly Father, thus his single-mindedness and focus that he can’t take his eyes off of Him, because of his love for Him.

When a child has their heart set on something, it is very hard to get them off track to say or do what you want them to say or do.

The boy’s heart is set, like flint, on running into the arms of His Heavenly Father. That’s childlike faith in action!

He knows he is going to get there; it is just a matter of time. He believes and it’s in his determination to keep running and ignore the call of the man behind him.

“I offered my back to those who struck me, my cheeks to those who plucked out my beard; I did not hide my face from insult and spitting. For ADONAI ELOHIM will help. This is why no insult can wound me. This is why I have set my face like flint, knowing I will not be put to shame. My vindicator is close by; let whoever dares to accuse me appear with me in court! Let whoever has a case against me step forward!” Isaiah 50:6-8 (CJB)

Merriam- Webster: Flint is 1) a massive hard dark quartz that produces a spark when struck by steel; 2) an implement of flint used in prehistoric cultures; 3) a) a piece of flint; b) a material used for producing a spark; especially an alloy (as of iron and cerium) used in lighters; 4) something resembling flint in hardness.

The little boy can see the LORD. It is clear, because of his single-mindedness in running to Him.

Even though the weather is clear and sunny, the man can’t see who or what the boy is running towards. So in the man’s concern, he calls out to the boy and tells him to come back.

When the boy doesn’t respond (Remember the single-mindedness of a child when they want something?) the man takes off after him, hoping to catch up.

Younger children often see in the spirit realm, because of their innocence and lack of being programmed by the things of man.

They don’t always tell you that they see, because they may be afraid of rejection, through being made fun of, being called names, or being told that they are lying. They may still be processing what they are seeing, as they don’t understand it all.

Yet they know they see things that others don’t, because those around them may not be talking about what or if they see in the spirit realm. Another factor is if they are visiting the LORD, He may have told them not to share. So there are many factors involved in children seeing in the spirit and sharing about it.

If others around them are talking about seeing things in the spirit realm, then if becomes more natural for them, and there is less fear in sharing.

So there are many factors that we don’t always take into account, unless we have been there, done that, or been exposed to it through our own or other children that the LORD has brought to us to help.

SCENE 2 – I believe this is a picture of what has already happened in some countries, but also what may take place in other nations in the future, much like it did in Nazi Germany during WWII.

In the dream, the original meeting to reorganize the church was apparently held in secret, because of the wife’s comment that they were in leadership and part of the team.

Yet they apparently weren’t invited to that meeting to help make the decision to change the rules to new criteria.

Neither of them knew about the rule changes in advance. Nor did they seem to know that they were being removed from membership or banned from the church.

The announcement was made during the church service of the new rules and regulations. This is a tactic used to bully the 12 families into submission, since it is being made in public to embarrass them.

The fact that they are naming the twelve families whose memberships are being dissolved and they are named as banned from the church during the service is an attempt to hold them in line, by trying to keep them from saying or confronting anything in front of the whole church.

So we see the spirits of manipulation and control in action, as well as bullying, intimidation, condemnation, and accusation. The presiding spirits are trying to oppress them and keep them immobilized, kind of like hitting something with a stun gun or a tranquilizer.

The husband said the new rules and regulations seemed a lot like what we’ve had in the past, but they’ve attached a new name to them is an attempt by the enemy at confusion, but also to take the church back to a familiar past, or to go backwards.

But by giving the rules a new name, many of those attending won’t catch on due to confusion, divination, witchcraft in the church, complacency, a deaf and dumb spirit or the spirit of religion, that would like nothing better than going back to the past and its previous rules, which allows less freedom in Christ and more religion.

This may be the work of a Jezebel spirit in the leadership that is trying to run the show and expel those who would oppose its rule and reign.

The spirit of Jezebel often does this very subtly, so you won’t always know exactly where its coming from, because they will try to hide what they are doing, unless they are being very bold and forthright in exposing themselves.

This could also be caused by changes in a society or government, that are trying to do away with Christianity.

To do this, those who call themselves Christian churches will have to jump through hoops to continue to meet in public areas. The enemy is opposed to anything new coming in that will do away with spirits of religion, deaf and dumb, division, gossip, manipulation and control and the rest of the gang.

The enemy wants to change back to the old rules. By calling them new criteria, the familiar spirits within will recognize the old familiar path, those who are asleep, complacent, or under the influence of the enemy in other ways in the church will be happy to go back to the old familiar ways of doing things, and won’t realize what has hit them.

More importantly, by going back to the old rules and regulations, those staying in the church are turning their backs to God and refusing His way, and are being disobedient to Him.

They are choosing to stay with old familiar patterns, traditions, cultures, habits, etc. Refusing to move forward with the LORD, says you want to be the boss and aren’t willing to follow Him. So basically they are lukewarm, walking in rebellion, stubbornness and witchcraft by doing this.

“I know what you are doing: you are neither cold nor hot. How I wish you were either one or the other! So, because you are lukewarm, neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth! For you keep saying, ‘I am rich, I have gotten rich, I don’t need a thing!’ You don’t know that you are the one who is wretched, pitiable, poor, blind, and naked!” Revelation 3:15-17 (CJB).

“Sh’mu’el (Samuel) said, “Does ADONAI take as much pleasure in burnt offerings and sacrifices as in obeying what ADONAI says? Surely obeying is better than sacrifice, and heeding orders than the fat of rams. For rebellion is like the sin of sorcery (witchcraft), stubbornness like the crime of idolatry. Because you have rejected the word of ADONAI, He too has rejected you as king. Sha’ul (Saul) said to Sh’mu’el (Samuel), “I have sinned. I violated the order of ADONAI and your words too, because I was afraid of the people and listened to what they said,” 1 Samuel 15:22-24 (CJB).

There were 12 families expelled from the church and banned. The number 12 is the number for the Apostolic.

It is the Apostolic ministry that moves forward in team ministry (Apostle, Prophet, Teacher, Pastor, and Evangelist) that was being rejected as well as rejecting the LORD’s heart.

Reinhard Bonnke, a German Evangelist, well known in Africa for the thousands of people he has helped bring to the LORD, said in a meeting in California years ago, that when you are in a church that doesn’t move forward, it is like being in a car waiting in a line for the other cars to move forward, and until the one in front of you moves you are stuck there, PARKED. You can’t move forward or backward. So you just sit there!

So, it would be better to get out of the car / church and walk, than to stay PARKED in one position with the church, and not be able to move forward with the LORD, because of the mindset and the spirits within those in the church.

Therefore, those who lost their membership and were banned from the church were actually being done a favor.

After the initial shock wears off, those who were expelled could regroup into home groups, and keep moving forward with the LORD, into His Heart’s desire for them and the earth.

It is however, IMPERATIVE THAT THEY CONTINUE TO MOVE FORWARD WITH THE LORD.

It will take the childlike faith of the child who was so single-minded, that he wouldn’t be delayed or detoured from his plan to run into the arms of His Heavenly Father, to not feel sorry for yourself or get off-track from what the LORD wants you to do.

God always turns what appears to be bad into good. It is just like He is driving all those who are trying to survive the weather and geologic conditions, to their knees and faces to rely more fully on Him.

He will turn it to our good, as we worship Him, repent, seek Him, and are obedient to whatever He tells us to do

“Realizing that their father was dead, Yosef’s (Joseph’s) brothers said, “Yosef may hate us now and pay us back in full for all the suffering we caused him.” So they sent a message to Yosef which said, “Your father gave this order before he died: ‘Say to Yosef, “I beg you now, please forgive your brother’s crime and wickedness in doing you harm.” So now, we beg of you, forgive the crime of the servants of the God of your father.“ Yosef wept when they spoke to him; and his brothers too came, prostrated themselves before him and said, “Here, we are your slaves.”
But Yosef said to them, “Don’t be afraid! Am I in the place of God? You meant to do me harm, but God meant it for good – so that it would come about as it is today, with many people’s lives being saved. So don’t be afraid – I will provide for you and your little ones.” In this way he comforted them, speaking kindly to them,” Genesis 50:15-21 (CJB).

“Similarly, the Spirit helps us in our weakness; for we don’t know how to pray the way we should. But the Spirit Himself pleads on our behalf with groaning too deep for words; and the one who searches hearts knows exactly what the Spirit is thinking, because his pleadings for God’s people accord with God’s will. Furthermore, we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called in accordance with His purpose; because those whom he knew in advance, he also determined in advance would be conformed to the pattern of His Son, so that he might be the firstborn among many brothers; and those whom He thus determined in advance, He also called; and those whom He called, He also caused to be considered righteous; and those whom he caused to be considered righteous He also glorified!” Romans 8:26-30 (CJB).
