Double The Harvest!
I had a short Vision of a father playing with his children — a pigeon pair, boy and girl.
They were romping, diving, jumping, running away before running back for more. Then the father stopped, called the children to Him, and started talking to them.
They were all smiling, so it wasn’t anything like a telling off; more like a quick lesson. Then they all jumped up and started picking things up.
It was beech mast — the ripe seed pods from a beech tree that had fallen to the ground. Usually used as food for animals, this small family collected all they could carry.
They took them to a large patch of clear ground and started planting them.
An obvious analogy maybe, but then The LORD said, “It’s time to gather in the first Harvest and plant for the second one later in the year.
Just as you have sown previously, that early Harvest is ready now and you can now plant for the late Harvest.
Does My Word not say that the sower shall overtake the reaper?
This is that time!”
Two Harvests — a double reaping to go with a double sowing and double anointing?
A Harvest now and an even bigger one later — using the seed from this latest harvest.
“Behold, the days are coming,” says The LORD, “When the plowman shall overtake the reaper, and the treader of grapes him who sows seed; The mountains shall drip with sweet wine, And all the hills shall flow with it.”” Amos 9:13
