“Don’t succumb to depression,” says The LORD.

“Fight against it, for it is not of Me. Darkness can be defeated with the light that I have given you.

“Rise up and conquer the illegitimate thoughts that the enemy is planting in your mind, and renew your mind in My Word.

“For the enemy loves to play games with you, and tries to get your thoughts to go into his direction to disturb your peace and rob you of your joy.

“You can overcome him as you refuse to cower in the corner and allow him to bombard you with his dark speech.

“Do not listen to him when he rails on you with endless accusations and tries to pull you into hopelessness. His lies are continual, and you must resist them as you turn toward Me,” says The LORD.

“Do not pay attention to Him, for I have already defeated him,” says The LORD.

“I have validated you as MY beloved child, and there is none that can pluck you out of My hands. You are secure in Me. I AM your helper, and you are never alone. I will comfort you and secure you and bring you through the most violent storms.

“I AM your peace and you will not go under in the raging seas of Life. I will hold you up and bring you to a place of safety and well-being, for he cannot make Me abandon you or My purposes concerning you, and he cannot carry out his threats against you.

“I AM your defense, and I will be with you always as the lover of your soul, your greatest ally and friend that sticks closer than a brother,” says The LORD.
