Don’t Look Back
Remember Lots wife!
“But his wife looked back behind him, and she became a pillar of salt.” Genesis 19:26
The LORD would say to us all today, “Why do you cling so desperately to the past?
Why is what’s gone before, so important that it takes precedent over what I AM bringing?
Let go of the past — grasp and hold on to My Promises of what is to come!
What is past is past! It’s gone, finished, done with!
Today is a new day — it’s the first day in the rest of your life.
Is not My Plan for you today more important to you than the memory of what I did yesterday?
Let it go!
I AM doing a new thing. Do you not see it yet?
Yesterday, the prodigals didn’t come home.
Yesterday, the back-sliders remained back-slidden!
Tomorrow is a new day full of My hope and full of My Promises.
Tomorrow is the day everything turns around!
Yesterday I did not come to you. Tomorrow I AM coming!
Which is more important — yesterday or tomorrow?
Which excites you more? What I did yesterday — or what I will do fresh tomorrow?
Stop living yesterday and start living today and tomorrow!” says The LORD of Hosts.
Stop looking back!
Start looking forward!

Chris Bennett came to salvation in 1962 but didn’t begin ministry until 2007 — a late-comer! Now mandated by The LORD to prophesy and open old wells of revival in the U.K., but especially in Wales. He has also operated Healing Rooms, and worked with deliverance teams, all with his wife, Linda. Happily now doing whatever The LORD asks of them! Founder, with wife Linda, of their ministry The Upper Room Encounter.
Amen And AMEN
Is this something that will cause a split in the church? Those looking forward will be told by those looking back that “this is how it has always been done” and that anything else is heresy?
Yes, we’ve run into that a lot! Yet, by pressing on and mostly proving the worth of the ‘new’, we’ve also seen great progress. We are always going to hear the ‘this is how it’s always been done’ brigade and sometimes, like Lots wife, we just have to leave them behind. Sometimes they see the good in the new but sometimes they don’t!
So yes, this is something that might cause a split but it’s a separation of wheat and tares and has to be done to purify the harvest!
Amen thank you Lord
