Don’t Lay Down On This Battlefield,
Don’t Shut Down In This Storm!

 

In my time of worship and prayer before the LORD tonight, He began to show me some of you on a battlefield where the smoke of the battle is intense.

Your armor is damaged and dented. The enemy has shot one fiery dart after another to wound your vulnerable heart. You have sunk to your knees at this point unsure how to continue.

Then the LORD began to show me some in a raging storm.

The thunder rocks the dark skies hovering over you. The lightning flashes in every direction and the rain is beating down upon you ferociously. You feel almost numb at this point and thinking you may just give up this time.

If either of these scenes are the scene of your circumstance right now, God gave me these next words for you.

“Don’t lay down on this battlefield and don’t you shut down in this storm!”

You are nearly through this transition. You are so close! Don’t give up when you are so close to victory!

The sifting is almost done and the victors crown awaits you. No weapon forged against you to delay, hinder, disempower, or provoke will succeed.

You are divinely covered from the crown of your head to the soles of your feet. You shall not be the victim, only the Victor!

These circumstances will not reign over you. Take back your control! They will not crush you to a place of defeat! They will not push you to a place of despair. They will not imprison you in fear’s hostile habitation!

Beloved, Get back up on this battlefield, His love has made you more than a conqueror.

This giant before you will be slain. You will stand victorious when the haze of this battle clears. For those in the storm, keep moving!

You are sheltered under the Most High! This storm will run out of rain, the dark clouds will dissipate, and you will see the shore of your incredible harvest. The oil of joy for your mourning!

Hold on through the last of this storm!
