Don’t Kick & Trample The Sabbath; Keep It Holy For GOD’s Glory & Your Good
It is surprising how most children of GOD kick against and trample The Sabbath, neither fearing GOD and His Word, nor caring about losing His blessing for keeping The Sabbath.
Look at what THE LORD OF THE SABBATH says about keeping The Sabbath:
“If you turn away your foot from the Sabbath, from doing your pleasure on My Holy Day, and call The Sabbath a delight, The Holy Day of THE LORD HONORABLE, and shall honor Him, not doing your own ways, nor finding your own pleasure, Nor speaking your own words, then you shall delight yourself in THE LORD; and I will cause you to ride on the high hills of the earth, and feed you with the heritage of Jacob your father. The Mouth of THE LORD has spoken.” Isaiah 58:13-14.
There is GREAT and HIGH Divine promotion and provision for keeping The Sabbath.
Why would you deny yourself this amazing Goodness of GOD by not keeping The Sabbath?
Keeping The Sabbath even gives one Holy celebrity recognition – better than that of the world, and which is eternal, as well as Divine privileged access:
“Thus says THE LORD: “Keep justice, and do righteousness, for My Salvation is about to come, and My Righteousness to be revealed. Blessed is the man who does this, and the son of man who lays hold on it; Who keeps from defiling the Sabbath, and keeps his hand from doing any evil.” Do not let the son of the foreigner who has joined himself to THE LORD speak, saying, “THE LORD has utterly separated me from His people”; nor let the eunuch say, “Here I am, a dry tree.” For thus says THE LORD: “To the eunuchs who keep My Sabbaths, and choose what pleases Me, and hold fast My Covenant, even to them I will give in My House and within My Walls a place and a name better than that of sons and daughters; I will give them an everlasting name that shall not be cut off. Also the sons of the foreigner who join themselves to THE LORD, to serve Him, and to love THE NAME of THE LORD, to be His servants — everyone who keeps from defiling the Sabbath, and holds fast My Covenant — even them I will bring to My Holy Mountain, and make them joyful in My House of Prayer. Their burnt offerings and their sacrifices Will be accepted on My Altar; for My House shall be called A House of Prayer for all nations.” Isaiah 56:1-7.
Please, this is GOD’s Holy Word for our own good. Let there be no false arguments about being made to keep The Law.
This is not about keeping The Law; it is about obeying GOD and His Word for His Glory and for our good.
The Ten Commandments, like all The Holy Scriptures, are for us to obey.
The Commandment to keep The Sabbath is the fourth of The Ten Commandments. And It must be obeyed with reverence and GODly fear. For we will be judged now, and in The Age To Come regarding our obedience.
“But he who does wrong will be repaid for what he has done, and there is no partiality.” Colossians 3:25.
“For we must all appear before The Judgment Seat of CHRIST, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad. Knowing, therefore, The Terror of THE LORD, we persuade men; but we are well known to GOD, and I also trust are well known in your consciences.” 2 Corinthians 5:10-11.
Again, it is for our own good to keep The Sabbath This was proven exceedingly true the day after THE LORD was crucified, a Sabbath.
“Now behold, there was a man named Joseph, a council member, a good and just man. He had not consented to their decision and deed. He was from Arimathea, a city of the Jews, who himself was also waiting for The Kingdom of GOD. This man went to Pilate and asked for The Body of JESUS. Then he took It down, wrapped It in linen, and laid it in A Tomb that was hewn out of the rock, where no one had ever lain before. That Day was The Preparation, and The Sabbath drew near. And the women who had come with Him from Galilee followed after, and they observed The Tomb and how His Body was laid. Then they returned and prepared spices and fragrant oils. And they rested on The Sabbath according to The Commandment.” Luke 23:50-56.
Without controversy, THE HOLY SPIRIT has made The Point clear in The New Testament to silence arguments against keeping The Sabbath in CHRIST:
“And they rested on The Sabbath according to The Commandment.”
This was within hours after THE CROSS OF CHRIST — under The New Covenant, not The Law.
Therefore, we have New Covenant obligation to keep The Sabbath.
Under The New Covenant — the very first day after our LORD JESUS CHRIST bled His Life to death on THE CROSS for us to live eternally, was The Sabbath. And the women from Galilee who witnessed It all, rested on it to obey GOD, and did not go to The Tomb of THE LORD to anoint His Body, as they thought was necessary.
When they obeyed and kept The Sabbath, the next day GOD surprised them with The Greatest News for all men: The Resurrection of JESUS CHRIST for our Justification, (Romans 4:25).
In other words, when the women kept The Sabbath and rested as commanded, GOD not only preserved The Body of JESUS from decay, He also RAISED Him from the dead — thus giving unprecedented blessings exceedingly, abundantly above all that they wanted and thought to do.
Keeping The Sabbath is for our obedience and blessing.
And it must not be substituted with Sunday as some erroneously believe and even teach. Sunday is the first day of the week, (Matthew 28:1; Mark 16:2; Luke 24:1; John 20:1).
The Sabbath is the seventh day when GOD rested from all His Work, (Genesis 2:2). It is His established time and law, and must never be changed.
We must NEVER change GOD’s established order, times and law. It is of the Anti-CHRIST if one seeks to change GOD’s times and law, (Daniel 7:25).
It is the set time for this Word
“This will be the third time I am coming to you. “By the mouth of two or three witnesses every Word shall be established.” ” 2 Corinthians 13:1.
I briefly touched on The Sabbath in a previous Word, and had it planned by THE LORD to do a major Word on It subsequently, in His time.
Then, over recent weeks, all about the same time, brethren from three different continents (knowing not one another) requested via His Kingdom Prophecy website, and one via email, that I do a Word on The Sabbath.
GOD is working on the hearts of a remnant who desire to know and obey The Whole Counsel of GOD, to please Him.
As Paul said: “For I have not shunned to declare to you The Whole Counsel of GOD.” (Acts 20:27)
Great consequence, OR grave consequence? The choice is yours
Keeping The Sabbath has great consequences; not keeping The Sabbath has grave consequences:
“Thus THE LORD said to me: “Go and stand in the gate of the children of the people, by which the kings of Judah come in and by which they go out, and in all the gates of Jerusalem; and say to them, ‘Hear The Word of THE LORD, you kings of Judah, and all Judah, and all the inhabitants of Jerusalem, who enter by these gates. Thus says THE LORD: “Take heed to yourselves, and bear no burden on The Sabbath Day, nor bring it in by the gates of Jerusalem; nor carry a burden out of your houses on The Sabbath Day, nor do any work, but hallow The Sabbath Day, as I commanded your fathers. But they did not obey nor incline their ear, but made their neck stiff, that they might not hear nor receive instruction. “And it shall be, if you heed Me carefully,” says THE LORD, “to bring no burden through the gates of this city on The Sabbath Day, but hallow The Sabbath Day, to do no work in it, then shall enter the gates of this city kings and princes sitting on the throne of David, riding in chariots and on horses, they and their princes, accompanied by the men of Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and this city shall remain forever. And they shall come from the cities of Judah and from the places around Jerusalem, from the land of Benjamin and from the lowland, from the mountains and from the South, bringing burnt offerings and sacrifices, grain offerings and incense, bringing sacrifices of praise to The House of THE LORD. “But if you will not heed Me to hallow The Sabbath Day, such as not carrying a burden when entering the gates of Jerusalem on The Sabbath Day, then I will kindle a fire in its gates, and it shall devour the palaces of Jerusalem, and it shall not be quenched.” ’ ” Jeremiah 17:19-27.
In summary, GOD says in the above Scripture: those who hallow The Sabbath Day will reign and rule in life. But those who disobey will lose and rue losses.
It is good to do good on The Sabbath
Now, it is important not to keep The Sabbath as a legal code. It must only be kept as inspired by THE HOLY SPIRIT. It must not be kept of the letter, but of THE SPIRIT; for the letter kills, but THE SPIRIT gives life, (2 Corinthians 3:6).
By all means, keep The Sabbath and make It Holy by resting and being in The Presence of THE LORD.
But if THE LORD requires you to do any specific thing(s) on a particular Sabbath that may not be the norm, you must yield to Him. As He has said, “For THE SON OF MAN is LORD even of The Sabbath.” (Matthew 12:8)
“Again, He said: “The Sabbath was made for man, and not man for The Sabbath. Therefore THE SON OF MAN is also LORD OF THE SABBATH.” ” Mark 2:27-28.
Notice that THE LORD said that “The Sabbath was made for man…”
GOD made the seventh day for man to rest, just as He Himself also rested on the seventh day after His AMAZING work of creating our universe and us.
As He Himself has said, “for in six days THE LORD made the heavens and the earth, and on the seventh day He rested and was refreshed.” (Exodus 31:17).
Therefore, always keep The Sabbath as led by THE HOLY SPIRIT, without doctrinal dogmatism, or lustful disobedience of GOD and His Word.
Keeping The Sabbath is for GOD’s Glory and our good.
It should not be dismissed, disregarded and discarded as ‘The Law’. THE LORD did not destroy The Law.
As JESUS Himself has said:
“Do not think that I came to destroy The Law or The Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill. For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from The Law till all is fulfilled. Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these Commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in The Kingdom of Heaven; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in The Kingdom of Heaven.” Matthew 5:17-19.
“The LORD Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Grace be with you. Amen.” 2 Timothy 4:22.

Like John, I like to put my head to The Heart of JESUS so as to know and do His Will always. What’s in His Heart is what matters now and FOREVER. His Heart’s Desire is my only desire. My will is to do His Will.
As John was, I am the disciple whom JESUS loves. And like Paul, I am “the prisoner of CHRIST JESUS” (Ephesians 3:1) for His Purpose forever: to obey Him always.
NB. Surely, the disciple whom JESUS loves and “the prisoner of CHRIST JESUS”, like ALL The Promises of GOD, are available to every believer to obtain, just as John and Paul did.
“And having been perfected, He [JESUS] became The Author of Eternal Salvation to all who obey Him,” Hebrews 5:9.
I think it’s reasonable for the Holy Spirit to ask me to rest from Saturday evening to Sunday evening, since our world acknowledges Sunday as the last day of the week, and closes businesses etc on that day to allow us to rest. It is also the day that most churches are open for services. Isn’t it more important to honour God in the way that seems right to everyone? Otherwise you’ll be seen as a 7th day Adventist, whose doctrine is corrupt for other reasons, not just for legalism about Saturdays.

I understand what you’ve said, but it a great error. It is very wrong.
We don’t do what the “world acknowledges”; we do only The Word of GOD. We must do only The Will of GOD, (1 John 2:15-17).
Also, we must not “honour GOD in the way that seems right to everyone”; we must ONLY honour GOD in The Way that seems right to Him, and that’s His Word. (Hebrews 12:28).
He created us and saved us. We do only what HE wants. We’re not our own. He owns us, (1 Corinthians 6:19; 2 Corinthians 5:14-15).
Only depend on THE WORD and THE SPIRIT in all things.

Yeah I’m still trying to figure it out the 7th day. I’m stuck when its comes to numbers. It’s tough and it matters and have to be exact because that’s the only days God open his gate to walk with us.
Theres two different calendar of enoch circulated online but one calculated based on equliux end of the year n start of day 1 n change of season? while one use equinox as 3rd of the day of the week n mark it as change of season. Does day reset with year completed as spring is the first new cycle?
Moon is not use as observation since it has missing days fall behind. While the sun and stars were said to be exact 365 1/2 day or so a solar cycle
A year is made up by 364 days.
A year is divided into four parts, spring, summer, autumn, winter.
Each part has 3 months total 91 days with last day 91st day mark of change of season.
If we were to find out Nissan 14th means 14th day of spring? does it means we follow equinox as 1 day of spring april 3th? if count from march 20th 14 days later?
while sabbath is unchanged according to equilux of the new year mark the first day of the month?? ?
A day is made up from evening to night to morning and ends at next evening.
Thus we see two following Jesus Christ who have different views on the Sabbath…who is correct and who is not?
Since scripture can be divided based on the individual interpretation, I will posture this opinion.
Believe in God.
live as a righteous Believer, not perfect.
love and forgive each other.
and seek always to win souls for Jesus.
in saying that, we either follow the old testament in full or we don’t…

I may be totally wrong, but many Believers don’t follow the old testament Sabbath, have any been put to death for it?

However, Scripture interpretation must only be led by THE HOLY SPIRIT, and not be based on individual interpretation
“knowing this first, that no Prophecy of Scripture is of any private interpretation,” (2 Peter 1:20).
Are people put to death for not keeping The Sabbath? You can be sure that the consequences of disobedience of GOD’s Word happen.
Death happens to finances, health, marriage/ relationships, and even life – just like the consequences of disobedience regarding The Communion, which the Corinthian believers didn’t know they were suffering: “For he who eats and drinks in an unworthy manner eats and drinks judgment to himself, not discerning THE LORD’s Body. For this reason many are weak and sick among you, and many sleep [die].” (1 Corinthians 11:29-30).
Like The Communion by the Corinthians, The Sabbath is treated “in an unworthy manner” by most believers. They defile The Sabbath.
But no one must be forced to obey The Word; only taught to obey. (Matthew 5:17).

Keep the Sabbath holy ,10 commandments, written by the finger of God onto a tablet of stone and put inside the Ark of the covenant. This meant forever.! Man changed Sabbath day, no where in scripture is this change authorized , furthermore in the gospels Christians continued to keep Sabbath after crucifixion. Question is ,do you believe Gods word or the tradition of man?
Are you sure about this? I believe it was the Holy Spirit I heard speak to me to rest from Saturday evening to Sunday evening. Prior to that I was only resting on some Sundays. Also, the people resting on the Sabbath while Jesus was in the tomb were not aware of the New covenant; they were following the old covenant.

Yes, I am very sure about this – in The Word of GOD:
“Work shall be done for six days, but the seventh is The Sabbath of rest, holy to THE LORD. Whoever does any work on The Sabbath day, he shall surely be put to death. Therefore the children of Israel shall keep The Sabbath, to observe The Sabbath throughout their generations as a perpetual covenant. It is a sign between Me and the children of Israel forever; for in six days THE LORD made the heavens and the earth, and on the seventh day He rested and was refreshed.’ ”
Exodus 31:15-17.
THE SPIRIT OF GOD cannot say something contrary to His Word.
We serve THE GOD OF ISRAEL.
The women were fully aware of The New Covenant, because JESUS had taught It throughout His Ministry, and then instituted It with The Communion at The Passover Supper.
Additionally, The Old Covenant is fulfilled in The New.
