Don’t Faint – It’s Only a Test!
Fail or Pass depends upon your Report!
Where is the evidence?
Evidence means the available body of facts or information indicating whether a belief or proposition is true or valid: proof.
In this season, their are some who have heard about you and your connections with the Almighty God, but that will not be enough for them. Just as it was not enough for doubting Thomas, and like the Queen of Sheba, they are going to come to test the waters for themselves!
So, don’t be surprised if folks come around seeking evidence (a report or evidence) that what they have heard about you is indeed true!
For I hear God saying that it is His desire to bring you out of obscurity (unknown) into the marvelous light and to make your name great just as he did king Solomon! For as it is written, eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God (not man) hath prepared for them that love him. But God hath revealed them unto us by his spirit: for the spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God, (1 Corinthians 2:-10).
God is going to dumbfound those who have heard of you by the hearing of the ears, and what they are going to see with their own eyes, is going to be absolutely unbelievable and incomprehensible!
Just as it was for the Queen of Sheba, who, when she had heard of the fame of Solomon concerning the name of the LORD, she came to prove him (investigate to gather evidence) with hard questions.
In other words, she tried the spirit for her own self to see if what she had heard was indeed true, or was it simply a fable. She came to Jerusalem with a very great train, with camels that bore spices and very much gold and precious stones: and when she was come to Solomon, she communed with him of all that was in her heart.
Come on somebody, she did not come empty handed, but she came bearing gifts, even though she had already heard how much he already had and she was ready to give even more and to be a blessing to the man of God, despite the fact what she saw with her own eyes: as well!
How many times have many of us gone to see or hear the man or woman of God preach and or teach and never once did you take thought regarding your desire to bless those whom God is blessing, without thinking of your own self first, or stopping to add up or count what the man or woman of God has, before you blessed them, or that another person who was in need, without prejudging them, in order to be a blessing to them?
You see, she was not worried about him already having enough, or how he would utilize what she gave him, or whether he was already blessed. But she came ready to reverence and to show honor to this great man of God, based on the fact that he was called to do a work for the LORD and she wanted and desired to be apart of the work, which was the building of God’s house!
In other words, she was willing to give freely, without any strings attached! No, she had no ulterior motives for her giving, but it was a selfless divine act of giving from her heart!
And, so Solomon told her all her questions: there was not any thing hid from the king, which he told her not. And when the Queen of Sheba had seen all Solomon’s wisdom, and the house that he had built, and the meat of his table, and the sitting of his servants, and the attendance of his ministers, and their apparel, and his cup-bearers, and his ascent by which he went up unto the house of the LORD; there was no more spirit in her.
Meaning, she knew that what she had heard was indeed true and it was God who was using and indeed had sent King Solomon to do this great work and who had blessed him beyond measure!
And she said to the king, it was a true report (when people come investigating us what will they find regarding the report they have heard about you? Can God depend upon you to build his house and to distribute his wealth and to be an ambassador for him?) that I heard in mine own land of thy acts and of thy wisdom.
Howbeit I believed not the words, until I came, and mine eyes had seen it: and, behold, the half was not told me: thy wisdom and prosperity exceedeth the fame which I heard.
Isn’t that just like God to open up the windows of heaven and to pour out more blessing to those who are faithful to him! In other words, the more you give the more he gives back unto those who love him! Just as he did to both King Solomon and the queen of Sheba!
You see, when she came, she was not disappointed because the king poured back the wisdom that God had imparted to him back into her, and the oil he had continued to flow!
The queen was so blessed and happy about what she saw she said to Solomon, “Happy are thy men, happy are these thy servants, which stand continually before thee, and that hear thy wisdom, and she said blessed be the LORD thy God, which delighted in the, to set thee on the throne of Israel: because the lord loved Israel for ever, therefore made he thee king, to do judgment and justice.
Whenever God blessed you with a good leader to bless and support you, we as a people ought to thank God for them and to appreciate the gifts that God has given unto us both in our homes, churches and our nation because God does not have to do it!
And she gave the king an hundred and twenty talents of gold, and of spices very great store, and precious stones: there came no more such abundance of spices as these which the queen of Sheba gave to king Solomon.
Love is more than words, but it is words put into action!
