Don’t count on My Father’s Goodness!
Of course He is a good God, and every good gift comes from above, but do not rely on it for your salvation or healing or deliverance. His goodness cannot be demonstrated beyond the fact that He sent Me to be sacrificed for you, John 3:16. Many of you are counting on His goodness to heal you and millions are counting on His goodness to save them, but it doesn’t work that way. His goodness made a way to your salvation and healing, but your actual salvation or healing, that’s up to your faith in action. If YOU confess with your mouth and believe with YOUR heart salvation is yours! Romans 10:9.
Many believers are dying of diseases needlessly, because they are just counting on Fathers goodness to heal them. I never once said, according to My Father’s goodness so be it unto you. In every instance I said, “according to YOUR faith, so be it unto you”. Matthew 9:28-30. It maybe a shock to you but after He raised Me from the dead, His goodness finished it’s complete work. It’s because of that goodness that you are given opportunity to repent, Romans 2:4. Millions are thinking that because He is a good God, He would send no one to hell! Many believers believe that His goodness causes Him to overlook sin. And even some mature believers rely on his goodness for protection, health and healing.
This is a lazy man’s belief and has caused many early deaths and long term illnesses. After the Holy Spirit came to earth to guide you into all truth the ball was left in your court to repent, submit, believe, follow, obey and increase your faith. Not faith in His goodness but faith in Him in all that He is. Faith according to your need, as healer, deliver, savior, protector or supplier. No more “God will take care of me, because He is good”.
Father does not want couch potato children, He wants fighters who will “fight the good fight of faith, and lay hold on eternal life, whereunto they are called, and have professed a good profession before many witnesses,” 1 Timothy 6:12.
My Father is good all the time, but remember Satan is bad all the time and is determined to kill you. Satan’s threat is not to be taken lightly, you are wrestling against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of your world, against spiritual wickedness in high places . [13] Wherefore do not just sit back and rely on Fathers goodness but take unto you the whole armor of the kingdom, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand, activate your faith in the specific arena of his attack,” Ephesians 6:12-13.
Remember this: No matter how good My Father is, it is impossible to please Him unless you are diligently seeking Him with active faith. Hebrews 11:6.
