Don’t Be Discouraged! — Change the Channel With Your Hope!
The Doctor said to me today after giving me the good report, that my kidneys were functioning better.
He said “Don’t get your hopes up!” But, Hope is exactly what we need to get up!
And the way to do that is to Change Channels!
We have to turn off all voices but His, and His Word!
The Word is what will build Hope! Abraham “Hoped against hope”, because he counted God faithful even though he was very old and Sarah’s womb was dead!
We must always have Hope! We must always speak Hope, and we must always reject any voice that is causing us to lose Hope.
“Be strong and let your hearts take courage, All you who wait for and confidently expect The LORD.” Psalm 31:24 “AMP.
The False Prophet of Hopelessness
Once a so called ‘prophet’ showed up at our Church before our Service. He was actually a bitter person, looking for a reason to leave the Church, and before Service, he said to us that, “This Church will not stand!”
I began to crumble at that point, and all at once God said to me, “That is not Me! I never bring hopelessness!”
Immediately I had to pick myself up and Change the Channel in my thoughts, and then Peace came!
“And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.” Romans 5:4.
I have found out over the years, that when someone speaks hopelessness first and foremost, it is not God, because God is Love and love doesn’t discourage!
There is only one way to Change the Channel, and that is this, Praise Him for what He has already said to you through His Spirit and His Word!
David learned this when he said In Psalm 42:11 (AMPC)
“Why are you cast down, O my inner self? And why should you moan over me and be disquieted within me? Hope in God and wait expectantly for Him, for I shall yet praise Him, Who is the help of my countenance, and my God.”
David literally spoke to his soul (mind, will, and emotions).
In times when someone, or something, or even a circumstance, is speaking hopelessness, you have to tell your soul to shut up!
Changing the Channel, is the Key!
You see this is what God is saying to all of us in these dark days when the enemy is coming in like a flood to steal our hope in what he has said about our country, our children, our churches, and our families!
The LORD is saying, “It is time to Change the Channel!”
Hope in Him like Abraham counted Him faithful! He’s got this!
So why are you letting your soul moan over you? Hope in God!
Change the Channel with your praise! I have found it really works!
That day when the prophet did that. we were about to go to lead Worship, and at first I didn’t think I could make it! But God said. “I never speak hopelessness!” and I Changed the Channel and began to Worship — and suddenly that Channel Changed from hopelessness to Hope, and from fear to Faith!
Glory to God!!
“But I will hope continually, and will praise You yet more and more.” Psalm 71:14.
“Now, we have this hope as a sure and steadfast anchor of the soul, it cannot slip and it cannot break down under whoever steps out upon it — a hope that reaches farther and enters into the very certainty of the Presence within the veil,” Hebrews 6:19.

It is true there are many voices out there who may make discouraging statements.
But,our God and faithful redeemer is a very presen help, and he has the final word for every thing in our life._”Is there any thing too hard for the LORD” is his assurance to his own?
“Christ in us the hope of glory.
