Don’t Allow the Enemy to Move You or Shake You Out of Your God Given Destiny; He Knows Much Is Coming!

 

This morning I believe that the LORD is calling for his people to begin to come together and to seek him for the turning away of his wrath upon the Nation’s; as well as the ungodly!

For, I keep hearing Him say, “Seek the LORD, all you humble of the land, you who do what He commands.

Seek righteousness, seek humility; perhaps you will be sheltered on the day of the LORD’s anger,” (Zephaniah 2:3).

Zephaniah’s message of judgment and encouragement contains three major doctrines:

1. God is sovereign over all nations and people.
2. The wicked will be punished and the righteous will be vindicated on the day of judgment.
3. And, that God will blesses those who repent and trust in Him.

For in that day neither their silver nor their gold shall be able to deliver them
on the day of the wrath of the LORD.

In the fire of his jealousy, all the earth shall be consumed; for a full and sudden end He will make of all the inhabitants of the earth, (Zephaniah 1:18).

For, the hearts and the minds of men have become covered with dross and unless they begin to repent and to do a u-turn many shall like wise perish.

For, many have refused to put down their guns and weapons of warfare even though the prophets and the people of God have sent warning after warning saying repent and turn away from your wicked ways for who knows if God will repent and leave a blessing behind?

Nations have begun to turn upon Nations many wanting to be the super power or the under dog undermining one another and the love of many have begun to wax cold towards both the innocent and the poor!

“Am not I a God of Justice?” saith the LORD. “But let judgment run down as waters, and righteousness as a mighty stream,” (Amos 5:24).

The LORD is gracious and compassionate, but when all His warnings are ignored, judgment is sure to come.

Many refuse to believe what the prophets of old and now are speaking regarding the ‘Day of the Lord’ and all that is to come!

For, you shall see both the finger of the LORD and his strong arm break the head of the wicked and a nation that forget

God shall be turned into hell! (Psalm 9:7)

For, The LORD is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance, (2 Peter 3:9).

The LORD is warning the wicked he is offended by the moral and religious sins of His people.

And, though God loves his people; God’s people will not escape punishment when they sin willfully.

Many times the chastisement of God may be painful, but its purpose may be redemptive rather than punitive.

God has given the people the freedom to (choose/ choice) disobey him but not the freedom to escape the consequences of their disobedience.

But, rest assured though their be only a few who are faithful to God in their obedience to him; He does not forget them that continue to look to Him and that trust in Him!

The enemy knows his time is short and he is doing all that he can to move those who are faithful to God, out of their place!
