Dolls and Poppets in the Kingdom of God.

This morning as I was praying, the LORD spoke to me regarding the use of dolls.

There are different beliefs which we as Christians and persons of God, should no longer be practicing; even if our ancestors practiced it!

I don’t care if it can bring about healing, romance or even warring off your enemies!

Once you become a born-again Christian, you become a new creature in Christ Jesus; and old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new, (2 Corinthians 5:17).

What we need to understanding is that this power cannot be purchased with the hands of man!

A doll is a model of a human being, often used as a toy for children.

Dolls have traditionally been used in magic and religious rituals throughout the world, (voodoo and as poppets) and traditional dolls made of materials such as clay and wood are found in the Americas, Asia, Africa and Europe. (Wikipedia)

These dolls, God said to me, are simply poppets on a string to perform by the hands of mere man, are for a show, entertainment, and have no life or authority in there body!

They are dumb idols that cannot talk, hear or see and neither can they deliver!

You see, a man named Simon had practiced sorcery (magic) in the city and amazed all the people of Samaria. He boasted (bragged on his magic; the gifts HE possessed) that he was someone great, and all the people, both high and low, gave him their attention and exclaimed, “This man is rightly called the Great Power of God.”

They followed him because he had amazed them entertained for a long time with his sorcery.

Sounds familiar?

The LORD said that many in the body of Christ are so enthused by the gifts and the calls of man, that we can not see beyond the charisma and the gimmicks of these mere men! A

And, like Simmon the Sorcer we become so enthused by the magic that many of these magicians are performing in the body of Christ as they continue to camouflage themselves as dolls, (show, entertainment, no life or authority) and lizards we follow them.

This is thus helping them to continue the mascaraed as though the God of the most high whom we serve, is a complete-phony and He has no power to bring about true transformation in the lives of others!

But when they believed Philip as he proclaimed the good news of the Kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women.

Simon himself believed and was baptized. And he followed Philip everywhere, astonished by the great signs and miracles he saw.

Come on somebody, when you become born-again, you will lay down the poppet, puppets, dolls and cut all soul ties and strings with any and all magic!

The Holy Ghost will become your eyes, ears, mouth, hands and feet that lead you!

And you want have time for the voodoo dolls and poppets to help you do magic in the Kingdom of God!

These things are ways of binding you to the gates of Hell; in fact, they make you feel as though it is real by giving you what you are asking for but really it is a spiders web of spiritual entrapment.

When the apostles in Jerusalem heard that Samaria had accepted the word of God, they sent Peter and John to Samaria. When they arrived, they prayed for the new believers there that they might receive the Holy Spirit, (the true source of power; not the third eye) because the Holy Spirit had not yet come on any of them; they had simply been baptized in the name of the LORD Jesus.

Then Peter and John placed their hands on them, and they received the Holy Spirit. Come on somebody, many are doing works in the Kingdom but is it by the TRUE source of power?

Many others felt and endorsed Simon as some great wonder but the disciples had a discerning spirit from God and this man grieved them and so they quickly identified something was wrong!

Or you discerning or is it just you are caught up in the charisma of mere mortal gifts of men and women in the body of Christ?

When Simon saw that the Spirit (genuine; not fake or phony) was given at the laying on of the apostles’ hands, he offered them money and said, “Give me also this ability so that everyone on whom I lay my hands may receive the Holy Spirit.”

Peter answered: “May your money perish with you, because you thought you could buy (get it on your own; without the help or endorsement of the Holy Ghost) the gift of God with money!

You have no part or share in this ministry, because your heart is not right before God.

And, Peter said to him repent of this wickedness and pray to the LORD in the hope that he may forgive you for having such a thought in your heart.

For I see that you are full of bitterness (resentment, anger, envy, guile, etc.) and captive to sin.”

Then Simon answered, “Pray to the LORD for me so that nothing you have said may happen to me,” (Acts 8:9-24).

The practices of sorcery and using of dolls and witchcraft practices are strongly condemned by God throughout the Bible, such as in Deuteronomy 18:9-13, where God forbids consulting anyone who practices “divination or sorcery, interprets omens, engages in witchcraft, or casts spells, or who is a medium or spiritualist or who consults the dead” (also see Leviticus 19:26, 31, 20:6; 2 Kings 17:17; Acts 19:18-19; Revelation 21:8, 22:15).

The god of voodoo is not the biblical God but a remote god who is not involved with humanity or nature.

The worship of the voodoo spirits is the worship of false gods, and as such is condemned throughout the Bible.

Even though some claim to use it for what they call good in healing, romance, shuttting and silencing the mouth of others!

Not only is voodoo a religion (but not the TRUE) that is incompatible with Christianity, but its practices and beliefs are against God’s Word.

Moreover, the occult practices of voodoo are dangerous because they open people up for the influence of demons; as well as the demonic!

Go home and bury your dolls and your poppets!
