A year ago at least I saw, while driving around town, a house beginning to be built.

The foundation had been poured and all the proper plumbing put in place in the concrete floor slab. Some days later I saw that the walls had been built and stood up in place.

Well, I thought, they are sure coming along fast on that house!

I forgot about the building, then, some months passed and I happened to drive by that new construction again; I could see there was no activity and the work had stopped!

Over the coming year I did watch to see, as I drove past, it never was finished, and the lumber was becoming weather worn and beginning to look very bad.

Shortly later, I saw they had come and torn down all that had been started and the area cleaned up!

Well, I said to myself, WHAT HAPPENED?

Why was the work not finished?

Was it because they ran out of money?

Could it have been they changed their mind?

In either case, it definitely was a waste of money, because evidently all had been lost which had been started.

Today The LORD did bring before me a passage of Scripture, in that passage I did see a lesson coming [I felt inside that He was fixing to tell me something important, that I needed to learn].

I heard a question in my thoughts: DOES IT HAVE TO MAKE SENSE?

Then I heard the answer coming: “Somehow, many never finish, because to them, IT JUST DOESN’T MAKE SENSE, and then, many NEVER BEGIN….”

THAT ANSWER STUCK IN MY MIND HARD. Thanking about it, I heard more explanation coming:

“People are many times HINDERED in the building by others who say to them THAT WOULD BE ALL BUT IMPOSSIBLE TO DO!

Again, many say as well, THAT DOES NOT MAKE SENSE TO DO IT [that way or do it there, etc].

The work is then hindered, and in many cases STOPPED COMPLETELY, because of someone who QUESTIONED THE PLANS.”

He continued: “What do they have to say about something I told you to do?

Do they know that I have told you MY PLANS, and who are they to judge what I told you to do?

Don’t stop, just because someone does not understand.., and don’t stop, even if you do not understand. Just do what I say, and IT WILL BE DONE, MY WAY.”

As I heard these words, I heard the Holy Spirit mention of a Passage of Scripture [which I have only heard others preach about or teach about]; I had never had any real leading to teach or even study it to any depth.

I went to find it, looking it up in 2 Kings 6. When I begin to read it THEN AND ONLY THEN DID I FULLY SEE:

Does It Have to Make Sense?

In that passage THEY WERE CUTTING DOWN TREES to build a house, when the main tool being used [the AXE HEAD] came off the handle and landed in the deep water.

It sank to the bottom out of sight. Oh, My, someone said: It was borrowed and now I can’t return it!

THEN THE MAN OF GOD WAS MOVED TO DO THE IMPOSSIBLE…He took and cut a simple limb or short branch and threw it into the deep water! AND LOW AND BEHOLD… THE AXE HEAD FLOATED TO THE TOP!

Now whoever has ever heard of a HEAVY STEEL AXE HEAD FLOATING ON WATER? Does steel float?

Of course not! THAT IS JUST IT… IT WAS A DEFINITE IMPOSSIBILITY!

At this place I heard The LORD speaking: “I AM A GOD OF IMPOSSIBILITIES. Never ever question if I can do something. Only Believe me and DO WHAT I SAY! Ask no questions, JUST DO IT!”

“Now LORD, that is easy for You to say,” I answered… “YES, BUT IT IS THE WAY I WORK.” The LORD said!

The problem with men is they LOOSE SIGHT of the FACT that God can do impossible things.

Matter of fact, the things He wants done most of all the time, IS IMPOSSIBLE FOR ANY MAN TO DO. He is such a Big God, then we should understand HE HAS BIG PLANS!

Well, [I asked], Why would God ask men to do Impossible things, things, things that do not even make sense, IF, he knows they cannot do them? The answer of course is:

If men could do them, then men would get all the glory, and God himself would not be seen or known.

When done His Way, then men everywhere will see Him, and praise The LORD, for Ge is God almighty.

I will now post this Passage found in 2 Kings 6, for you to read for yourselves.

Please note that things DO NOT have to MAKE SENSE before you begin the work, and do not let any other man talk you out of doing what God tells you to do, just because they do not understand.

“Now the sons of the prophets said to Elisha, “Look now, the place where we live near you is too small for us.
Please let us go to the Jordan [River] and let each man take from there a beam [for the building]; and let us make a place there for ourselves where we may live.” And he answered, “Go.”
Then one said, “Please be willing to go with your servants.” So he answered, “I shall go.”
So he went with them; and when they came to the Jordan, they cut down [some of] the trees.
But it happened that as one was cutting down a beam, the axe head fell into the water; and he cried out and said, “Oh no, my master! It was borrowed!”
The man of God said, “Where did it fall?” When he showed him the place, Elisha cut off a stick and threw it in there, and made the iron [axe head] float.
He said, “Pick it up for yourself.” So he reached out with his hand and took it,” 2 Kings 6:1-7 Amplified Bible.

I have posted this Word in obedience to The LORD, having heard it all plainly in the Holy Spirit.

LORD, open the eyes of men and women who are sitting waiting or hindered, thinking it is Impossible to do something when they only need believe in a GOD OF THE IMPOSSIBLE!
