Do You Want to Keep Believing a Lie or Believe the Truth?
Good morning.
There is much error in The Churches that has crept in today. It has always been but is getting worse.
The lie can be smooth but the cost is tremendous for us to keep believing that lie!
“And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” John 8:32
Sometimes we get too focused on a persons ‘Prophetic word’ and we can get off track. That is sad but true.
Never throw the written Word of God away!
Try that Rhema Word in The Spirit you do hear at all times with everyone, not part.
Surely we may get a true Rhema Word but it needs to always line up with the written Word of God.
“Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.” 1 John 4:1
Many in the so called prophetic today don’t even base what they speak or write on The Bible anymore.
So many are promoting self in the prophetic circles! Many are so far from the written Word of God, it makes me sick.
We should be just be like the church of Berea:
“These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.” Acts 17:11
So much is out in left field we hear today and gives people false hope.
Also may I say, The LORD longs to speak to us all as we surrender and sit in His Holy Presence.
Getting back here: Some may have started out good but now make it about competition and glorifying self.
That is not of our LORD Jesus Christ.
The heart of The Gospel should be about reaching souls for The Kingdom of God! Jesus died on Calvary’s rugged Cross to redeem us back to what was stolen at the fall.
Out identity is in Him! Jesus needs to live through us. We need to be rooted, grounded and established in the faith:
“Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving. Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.” Colossians 2:7-9
We are to lay down our life for each other. We need to daily die to self.
“Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. But whoso hath this world’s good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him? My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.” 1 John 3:16-18
“I protest by your rejoicing which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily.” 1 Corinthians 15:31
If you hear ‘fluff’ and self adulation beware on any person claiming to be prophetic !!
‘Who’s who’ just don’t impress me much in the prophetic. Still don’t take me wrong, please.
I do have great respect for the true prophets of God. They pay or have paid the cost though they be stoned or crucified for it.
Just one e.g. I feel: David Wilkerson warned us of what was coming in the end times. I think one warning message was even in 1973. You can look up his messages on YouTube if you like. I leave that to you.
Another e.g Jonathan Cahn as a Messianic Jewish Rabbi speaks out warnings today and I believe seeks God for what he reveals.
There are many others who are tried and true. That is not what this is about!
It is about only standing with the real and turning away from the false.
I just wonder, why so many keep looking up the prophetic like a daily fix or a horoscope?
Some are ‘pathetic’ and not ‘prophetic’, I believe. Much of this junk today has got us far off track! It’s like a 3-ring Circus in competing for a ‘New Word’.
Still we don’t need to make a witch hunt out of this.
We must just stop looking for the popular ‘Newest word’ to spare us out of all our troubles!
God alone can spare us and take us through all things and He will!
He Never leaves His Remnant without Hope in Him.
Yes I do believe in a last day harvest of souls, before the criticisms come.
Still we must hold on tighter and prepare for troubled days are surely ahead for America I feel.
I posted that yesterday on HKP. Still always we have Hope and a sure foundation to be found in Jesus Christ.
The LORD will see us through all things !!
I will never be popular and I don’t seek it. Yet I want to stand for Truth and the Word of God.
Out of a heart of love I warn you again.
Quit ‘chasing’ that Prophetic Word, but seek after God!
Honor of course to whom honor is due that is the word of God.
“Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honour to whom honour.” Romans 13:7
To know the difference of the real and false prophets, we have to pray for a ‘sharper discernment’.
To stand in the troubled times coming to America we also have to take our ‘blinders’ off. Blinders are for horses, surely not for us people!
Rejoice in The Truth. The LORD will never forsake His own.
“Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.” 1 Corinthians 13:6-7
“My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.” 1 John 3:18
“Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.” Matthew 7:14
Part of an Article I wrote here was published on August 20, 2022. It speaks of discerning the false from the real:
“Many in the Body of Christ are confused and don’t know what too believe. The LORD wants His children to Not be shaken!
1) First, I see the main way to tell is by a person’s fruits. Plain and simple. If a person screams S-e-l-f and the glory is being reflected on them instead of Jesus Christ — beware!
“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.” Galatians 5:22-23.
2) If their testimony don’t match up with their lives — beware!
Many leaders out there are looking for the titles and mans applause. They call themselves this and that and many times are false prophets and wolves in sheep’s clothing.
(Note, some are the real deal. Although that is not what we are talking about here.)
“Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.” Matthew 7:15
3) The false will fleece the flock. They are greedy and after the money. The love of money is the root of all evil- beware.
(I am not talking about having a stingy spirit on our end, either. If The LORD has our hearts he certainly has our pocketbooks.)
“For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.” 1 Timothy 6:10.
Some have fallen as leaders. If they are sincere, and seeking forgiveness yes! Absolutely, we are to restore in a spirit of meekness.
“Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted. Bear ye one another’s burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ. For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself.” Galatians 6:3.
“For he shall have judgment without mercy, that hath shewed no mercy; and mercy rejoiceth against judgment.” James 2:13.
“Which say, Stand by thyself, come not near to me; for I am holier than thou. These are a smoke in my nose, a fire that burneth all the day.” Isaiah 65:5.
Still, let them be proven out, and have a time of healing and restoration before they are in a full position of authority again.
The f-a-l-s-e though, you need to walk away from. Maybe RUN is a better word!
Most assuredly we are to try the spirits with everyone.
“Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.” 1 John 4:1.
Closing for now and pray God will bless each one.”

~ Joyce D. McGuire
My name is Joyce D. McGuire, called to work in and for the Kingdom of God! To lead we must try to follow Jesus Christ closely. That is my heart. I am a Chaplain to the prisons; prophetic intercessor by His grace; author; and a Mother in the Kingdom of God. To many I am simply Mama Joyce. Some favorite verses of mine are Matthew 11:28-30. My YouTube channel is: Chaplain Joyce McGuire.
Thank you Lord for this awesome word you gave Veronika. Unfortunately I know so many that chase every prophet that has a word and are no better for it. What the Lord has put in my heart was the words of John the Baptist, I must decrease so He can increase. This is what it’s all about, Him and only Him!
And when we lift Him up, wherever we are, His word says He will draw all men unto Himself. This is what is needed today. If we want to see the miraculous, then seek Him only, seek His word, and be totally submitted to Him. His Spirit will lead you to which prophet to listen to, no worries there.
Thank you Dianna, but I am Joyce McGuire. I wrote the articles and would not want to get the names confused.
Still if it ministered to you I am so very glad. Yes it is surely just about Him and only Him!
God’s sweetest blessings on you.
Well said-
Thank you Sharon and may God richly bless you.
