Do What the Spirit Prompts
You can do what The Spirit prompts. Do it!
Your mind often gives you reasons to blow it off. Don’t.
When you do what The Spirit prompts in your spirit, God’s Power works in you to fulfill the good pleasure of goodness and work of faith.
He created you in Messiah Jesus to do good works and walk in them. Do what The Holy Spirit prompts. Be to the praise of God’s Glory.
God’s Power working in you can do far more than what you you can ask or imagine.
“He did this so that now, through the Church, the Wisdom of God in all its variety might be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly realm in keeping with the eternal purpose that God carried out through the Messiah Jesus our Lord, in whom we have boldness and confident access through his faithfulness. So then, I ask you not to become discouraged because of my troubles on your behalf, which work toward your glory.
This is the reason I bow my knees before the Father of our Lord Jesus, the Messiah, from whom every family in heaven and on earth receives its name. I pray that he would give you, according to his glorious riches, strength in your inner being and power through his Spirit, and that the Messiah would make his home in your hearts through faith. Then, having been rooted and grounded in love, you will be able to understand, along with all the saints, what is wide, long, high, and deep—that is, you will know the love of the Messiah — which transcends knowledge, and will be filled with all the fullness of God.
Now to the one who can do infinitely more than all we can ask or imagine according to the power that is working among us—to him be glory in the church and in the Messiah Jesus to all generations, forever and ever! Amen” Ephesians 3:10-21. (Luke 5:22; 24:38; Hebrews 4:12)
Do What the Holy Spirit Prompts
Be instant in season, as Paul wrote Timothy to preach the word (2 Timothy 4:2).
“For those who are in accord with the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who are in accord with the Spirit, the things of the Spirit” Romans 8:5 NASB.
“However, you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. But if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Him. If Christ is in you, though the body is dead because of sin, yet the spirit is alive because of righteousness. But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you” Romans 8:9-11 NASB.
“So then, brothers and sisters, we are under obligation, not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh — for if you are living in accord with the flesh, you are going to die; but if by the Spirit you are putting to death the deeds of the body, you will live. For all who are being led by the Spirit of God, these are sons and daughters of God” Romans 8:12-14 NASB.
