John 16:10 says, “because I go to My Father and you see Me no more.”

Here Jesus is telling his disciples that they will no longer encounter Him physically, but this will be a good thing — for in verse 7 Jesus talks about The Holy Spirit coming.

Many people today want Jesus standing next to them, helping them and guiding them.

However, this would limit you because Jesus would not be sitting with you at work or standing next to you in the store. He cannot be with you 24 hours a day.

Luckily, Jesus gave us The Holy Spirit who is always with us and He guides us and helps us continually.

It is better to have The Holy Spirit within you, than to have Jesus appear next to you for a few minutes.

Since we have The Holy Spirit within us, we have to learn how to walk with The Holy Spirit.

Before you make a decision, check internally to see how you feel. You will feel either a good feeling or a bad feeling. A red light or a green light.

For the bad feeling, The Holy Spirit says: “If something doesn’t seem right then they must not act on it. Stop. And come seek Me.”

This is your red light.

For the good feeling, The Holy Spirit says: “Peace is your green light.”

Example:

Recently, I was going to buy plane tickets, but every time I went to the website to check the prices, I felt uneasy and slightly frustrated.

The plane tickets should have brought me joy and hope, however, I didn’t feel that. Again, it was an uneasy and frustrating feeling as I scrolled through the webpage.

I ask The Holy Spirit about the plane tickets and He said do not buy them and I was to wait.

Weeks later I returned to the website and I felt peace, hope, and no frustration. So, I bought the tickets.

Weeks later I found out that if I would have bought the tickets when I originally wanted to, the dates would have not worked out for me — and the tickets were non refundable and I would have lost money!

It was because I listened to the red light, green light of The Holy Spirit that I made a good decision.

Lastly, The Holy Spirit says: “This must be practiced every day.

You need to learn how to walk with Me.

Do not deceived. Seek Me on this matter and practice with Me.

Learn My Voice and you will be blessed more than imaginable.”
