Do NOT take your Eyes Off GOD!
NO, Don’t take your eyes off God!
Have we forgotten who God is? The Lord let me know that many are doubting Him because the enemy has the focus more on “how big the problem is,” instead of “how big our God is”!
It takes focus and intense prayer when troubles and trials come because there is extreme warfare against the saints of God! Some of us are getting like Peter, who was miraculously walking on water toward Jesus. But instead of focusing on His miracle, he focused on the waves of trouble coming for him and was overtaken with doubt and fear!
Jesus was already in Peter’s “focus,” but the situation caused him to look in another direction and he took his eyes off of Jesus. Don’t take your eyes of God no matter what distractions come your way!
Consider Daniel and the three Hebrew boys when their lives seemed doomed after being cast into a den of lions and a hot fiery furnace. They didn’t focus on the situation, because they knew that God would rescue them no matter how bad or impossible it seemed to the natural eyes and mind.
Let’s redirect our thinking and remember that God has all power in heaven and in earth! Is there anything too hard for God! Absolutely NOT! There is nothing that is too hard for our God, no matter how hopeless it looks in the physical realm!
Our God is spirit and those who worship Him must worship Him in Spirit and in “Truth”. Keep your eyes and your focus on God and not your present situation!
“God is a spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth” John 4:24.
“For nothing is impossible with God” Luke 1:37.
“I am the lord, the god of all mankind. Is anything too hard for me?” Jeremiah 32:27.
“Is anything too hard for The Lord?” Genesis 18:14.
“Jumping out of the boat, Peter walked on the water to Jesus. But when he looked down at the waves churning beneath his feet, he lost his nerve and started to sink. He cried, “master, save me!” Jesus didn’t hesitate. He reached down and grabbed his hand. Then he said, “Faint-heart, what got into you?”
….. the two of them climbed into the boat, and the wind died down. The disciples in the boat, having watched the whole thing, worshiped Jesus, saying, “This is it! You are God’s Son for sure!” Matthew 14: 29-33.

Numbers 21:4-8 (NKJV)
The Bronze Serpent
4 Then they journeyed from Mount Hor by the Way of the Red Sea, to go around the land of Edom; and the soul of the people became very discouraged on the way. 5 And the people spoke against God and against Moses: “Why have you brought us up out of Egypt to die in the wilderness? For there is no food and no water, and our soul loathes this worthless bread.” 6 So the Lord sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and many of the people of Israel died.
7 Therefore the people came to Moses, and said, “We have sinned, for we have spoken against the Lord and against you; pray to the Lord that He take away the serpents from us.” So Moses prayed for the people.
8 Then the Lord said to Moses, “Make a fiery serpent, and set it on a pole; and it shall be that everyone who is bitten, when he looks at it, shall live.”
