Do Not Judge Backsliders!
Do not judge backsliders; those who have retrogressed and reverted to old habits and strayed from the path of the Truth of Jesus Christ the Messiah.
Instead; Pray sincerely and with compassion for them. It’s possible for them to be restored in faith.
The plan of the evil one is to captivate and warp the minds of the people, hold them in bondage and captivity by habitual sinning and distortion of their spiritual vision.
He wants to destroy them and cause their latter state to be worse.
We ought to bear in mind 2 Corinthians 10:3-5,
“For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ. Falling away begins in the minds and thought processes of an individual where there is continuous warfare especially if such a mind is not rooted in Christ.”
Prayer and the Word of Elohim is our weapon of mass destruction to the enemy’s fortresses that have been built to instigate pride, rebellion, disobedience, perversions, addictions, double mindedness, immortality, and an anti-Christ mentality.
The thief which is Hashatan (Satan) who comes to steal, kill and to destroy, but Yahusha came that we all might have life and that more abundantly, (John 10:10).
Sad to say, many of those who are scorning backsliders, are the ones putting up facades and masquerading holiness, by religiously attending church, preaching and prophesying publicly, yet they themselves have long backslidden,….. secretly.
Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted. Bear ye one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ. For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself, (Galatians 6:1-3).
LORD, help us.
Shalom
